What's your strategy -- I know you have one because you're traveling the world right now, do you have carry on and check in or what do you do? I'm curious because since I switched to carry on only things have gotten simpler - but its hard to stay under the minimum this is the truth, but we have to lug it around so there's that!

Well, I'm embarrassed to say that I don't have a carry on, I check my suitcase. I wish I had a carry on instead, it would be simpler, and that's what I mean by being a bad packer, I tend to overpack... @@MaryBartnikowski

Yes I understand I used to take way too much stuff until my back gave out :)@@Thirstytraveler41 so out of necessity I reduced the pull on my body - and suddenly I didn't have to wait at the carousel and this was liberating
