I was born in jarnuary 1992. My dad used to play Badfinger's best of often when I was about 3 years old. I'm 20 now and all their songs reminds me of parties with my family and stuff. I love this song so much. This is what music is all about ; memories. And I'll never forget theses moments.

I have loved this song since it was released. When I was young we covered several of Badfinger's songs in bands I played with. I started covering this song about ten years ago, when one day, it simply crossed my mind. This song is so haunting, so sad, so heart-touching. An anthem for the lonely, heart-broken, weary, and sad. Thank you so very much for posting this - J.P.

In younger days, I told myself my life would be my own And I'd leave the place where sunshine never shone For my life's too short for waiting when I see the rising sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on till tomorow, there's no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on Beyond the shadows of the clouds and onward to the sky Carry on till I find the rainbow's end For my life's too short for waiting when I see the rising sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on till tomorow, there's no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on Drifting on the wings of freedom, leave this stormy day And we'll ride to tomorrow's golden fields For my life's too short for waiting when I see the rising sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on, carry on, carry on And when the heavy journey's done, I'll rest my weary head For the world and it's colours will be mine For my life's too short for waiting when I see the setting sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on till tomorow, there's no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on

My INSPIRATIONAL SONG FOR TODAY . I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW OFTEN THIS SONG HAS HELPED, WHILE TEARS WERE RUNNING DOWN MY FACE. THEY WERE ONE OF THE BEST IN THE EARLY 70'S . I did get to see the two remaining members at one of the Beatlefests in LA. It is a true tragic story what was done to this done. The manager's karma will catch up with him if it hasn't already

Remember the movie, The Magic Christian, 1969? starring Raquel Welch? and Ringo Starr? John Cleese? and Peter Sellers? and a host of others famous and not so famous? Well, this song was part of that sound track and was popular. Check it out if you've not seen the movie. Raquel Welch is far sexier than I've ever seen her, and the movie is the epitome of the '60s. I think it's a good movie.
