Maybe by allowing you to keep it, it gives him merit for all the good you do with it in Hashem's world! ...and just imagine if that merit helps them turn back to the proper path! I wonder if that is possibly one of the reasons. "Malbish Arumim" I was wondering if that morning blessing can also mean that Hashem gives merit to souls who have very little "clothing" (i.e. mitzvot). Can it?
