I've noticed recently that there's been more noob lobbies, which I guess is good meaning there's more new players playing the game. @@ZiarayZ The death charge spots are generally ubiquitous enough that you'd learn them even in classic.. I mean, you think of it, it's a charger. It goes straight. You wouldnt stand near an edge where it can get you. Yeah, you might get caught once or twice.. but if you're new, tell the team. Triggering alarmed cars is.. something you also learn in classic. Using cars as a tank.. I mean, yeah, that one's difficult break early on, but if you're worried about doing poorly as a tank you can always let the timer break out so another player gets to be the tank.

chainsaw is incredible if you understand it's proper usage: it's a pipebomb centered on you, use it to pull aggro into a funnel and press w to win. also pull it out at the start of the level before you leave the safe room to gather the mobs on the door while your slower teammates heal and get ammo.

Been trying to get into versus. The constant griefing and getting kicked for any little thing is crazy for a 2009 game. Why be sweaty in left 4 dead of all things?

The griefing is aggravating af yeah. I've found the kicking isn't too bad after a certain point, especially if you communicate with the team and are apologetic about mistakes or are humble about not being great and at least try to stay close and be helpful support. I'm not a skilled player (I know a lot about the game and strats, but I often make mistaken judgment calls or fail at pathing in the heat of the moment lol) but usually people are pretty nice to me, even before I speak up on mic and set a wholesome friendly tone. I started a group called "We're Not Unreasonable: Wholesome L4D2" on the-hot-vaporized-water-platform-that-I-can't-name-for-some-reason-or-my-comments-always-get-filtered, if you want to find matches with friendly people. It's not big but it's a start!
