In this video I discuss the playstyle and thought processes you should have when you go into a game in solo queue and try to carry them. You have to recognize that you're playing with a bunch of randoms and you have to assume your team, if you don't carry them, will lose 10/10 times.

yup, this happens a lot in lower ranks, everyone is scared because no one got any confidence so they just sit there and wait for something to happen and for it to become safe to enter, they don't care if they'll loose a round because of that and just sell their entry fragger for free because he got no support so you have to be entry fragger without any support

+voo CSGO There is a major issue I come across when following what you said. What happens to me (mg1/mg2) is that I will get the entry frag 75% of the time, but then I will often get traded out. Instead of pushing the site and getting the return, my teammates just play slowly and fall back. This may be good in some scenarios, but usually it results in my team losing the round and eventually losing the game. I don't know how to fix this since no one listens to me. Any advice please?

That last part of your video brought a point up that I never thought of. When you said about how some say they don't deserve there rank but they have to in some way that changed how I play cs go completely. I top frag occasionally but only of I start the game off in an amazing way. I normally die get mad I die and then die because I rush to far and get mad because of that. I have played as support ever since MG2 I am always looking for trade kills and I have memorized smokes and flashes that I see alot of people not utilize. I watched this video about one month ago and went from dmg to smfc in such a short period of time. The only thing that sucks is my friends might say I am bad at the game because I normally don't top frag but I guess at the end of the day I am getting the same wins as they are :)

This video is so important for everyone to watch. So many pugs I've had, there will be a guy who's the top-frag and thinks that because he has the most frags he is the best player there and he's carrying us. This EGO trip gets annoying and it's almost in every single players mind. Most times, it's not because they are a sick entry fragger that are giving us rounds, it's the guy who waits until everyone else is dead and gets the kills on weakened enemies because he called to "lurk" at the start. When will people learn that kills aren't everything to the game but yet rounds in which the team supports each other to win?

Every person that plays CSGO should watch this video on how accurate it is. I'm a really aggressive entry fragger at LEM level. Whenever I play with SMFC and Globals they've mastered and understood what this video is summing up, but most ranks around LEM or below like baiting teammates and don't know how to push as a team, even though CSGO was made a team based game. You see, I was in a losing streak last night, and I was worried I might derank from GN4 to GN3 once more (previously I deranked from MG1 to GN4). So I checked CSGO reddit and I found this video linked at a newbie questions thread. At my rank, most players have no idea about the economy of the game, never use rifles and just go Bizon/P90 everytime, and just straight up won't listen to advice. Hopefully this video will help me deal with some of the issues of solo queuing.

This only applies on T side to be honest. CT is a defensive play stile and it's about holding your site, give intel to your team and rotating as fast as possible to your mates if they try to enter a different spot. More aggressive CTs tend to leave their team outnumbered if they screw up and usually they get a lot of hate from their mates for being over aggressive.

I'm Supreme/LEM, and the things you mention in your vid are currently my biggest issues. I'm a decent clutchplayer and lurker. I know a lot of really good oneway smokes, molotov's and perfect popflashes which there aren't even tutorials for, i go often on a map and try out new flashes for 4 hours in a row. I find a lot of good unknown ones and learn them, most enemies don't expect them. I have a really good mapsense and i hit really good timings in when to flash/peek/push. BUT, my aim sucks ass in hell, i most likely often can't even frag a MGE in a fair aimduell. There are often situations where i popflash and fullflash 3 enemies and then start to spray and not frag a single one of them in the 2 secs of blindness and then I keep dying having made 97 in 5 with m4 or ak to 2 of them. And yes there are games where i go 45:10:10 against full Supremes, but most likely only when we're loosing the game even with me carrying. There we are at my second problem. I'm probably the most passive and fearful player on earth. I always let my teammates go entryfrag (but i trade very well most of the times). Problem is when my team rushes in before I'm even in range to support them with flashes or to refrag. And when all mates are dead i popflash in keep getting 2-3 kills most of the time and die loosing the round. So either my team kills everything rushing in not needing my support at all and i sit at 0:0:10 and were winning 16:2 or my whole team keeps dying round after round not killing anything. And then i try to clutch 1 vs 4-5, fail but get at least 2 most of the times 3 kills so i sit at the top with 120 points and 40+ frags but we loose anyways (most of the time 16:14 - 16:12 losses). Then there are times where my team is as passive as me and the clock runs down to 30 secs without anybody dead yet. Then i finally man up and rush in smoking, flashing, moloing, killing 3 players and my team still tends loose 4 vs 2 in these occasions. So to sum it up, i only win games i get carried and that really feels bad and kills the fun in the game for me. Because in the occasions where i do get entryfrags with a passive team i loose with positive stats and 1st on the scoreboard. And if i get a team which lets me in a 1 vs 4+ clutchsituation every round i loose a lot of the rounds and the game with good stats 1st of the scoreboard. But when i finally win i don't see a single enemy and when i do I die to him most of the time (because he isn't flashed in this situations). This leeds to the situation where i go on a 22 lossstreak and DON'T derank from LEM to LE and then have to go on a 16 winstreak (every game 16:5 or better ) to rank up from LEM to Supreme. Because when i loose i 90% of the time have 8+ mvps and don't loose much elo ( I loose my games most of the times 10:16 or better with a lot of impact on the won rounds but only in lost games), then when I win I 90% of the time have 0 mvps and no kills and dont get much elo either. Has been like this since 1 year now back then when i still was nova. BTW yes there are games where I loose sucking ass 2:25 or smth and this are the rare games less than 5% of the losses which i loose 16:1 or smth. But this is the exception. I'm a flashbangaddict so to say, i depend on them. I even buy 2 flashes in a full eco instead of a pistol and go for glockkills then ^^ .

problem is, people in gn don't realize that you shouldn't push through smokes or directly push awpers without smoking. many times for example i do try to entry frag on b, but it's smoked so i say wait in the mic. but in eu, where no one speaks english, might as well be talking to myself. what usually happens is by the time i manage to entry frag and get 1-2 kills and maybe a site, my team is probably dead by peaking awpers or rushing through smokes etc. i don't think you understand how bad it gets, there are games in gn4 where people aren't buying kevlars, last game i had a guy that only used galil. also, the opponents 70% of the times are smurfs who know how to play

I just played against a Russian scurf, he had 48 and 13. After the game I saw he had 2 aces one on the pistol round against us, and another one later on. 3 4kills. He got lots of 3k's and practically little 2ks. If you clicked in his name at the watch section his tabs was full of kills. The carrying needs to be stopped just one guy doing e dry thing.

I don't understand most smokes or flashes, my aim is shit, every time I peak I get shat on, I can't control any recoil of any weapon, only weapons I can ever use are pistols and AWP, and I'm really passive, I almost never top frag. I used to solo Q all the time. I was arround gold nova-mg and always without exception was top fragger most of the time with a big margin. I always worked my ass off calling, giving compliments and keeping the mood up. I learned all the grenades which my teammates didnt. They flashed me modst of the time, shot me sometimes just because they were frustrated. As soon as I died I knew I lost. Even more aim training and preparation didnt help. Dont solo Q dude or dudine whos frustrated and maybe reading this. Search for ambitioned players who will practice with you and have a good time.

I love it when I throw myself at the enemy as the entry fragger and I top frag anyways. That kind of play style requires a very, very tolerant mind because it can be the most frustrating thing sometimes. I am in SE but I have better aim and game sense than everyone (I watch WarOwl and prob almost 100 pro matches) so I am almost forced to entry because no one else will run out and commit to anything, let alone frag into the site.

you may want to do some unorthodox plays with your team on ct. sometimes on dust 2 when we lost enough rounds to where we can only lyrics force by some smgs, we push through a side and rush say a doors or even mid and that's our anti eco. You don't have to play static 2-1-2, you can do something the enemy won't typically expect and swing the momentum.

Im LE but the problem with carrying a team is people always die and never stick together. Also people don't know how to peek anything/ awpers in MM. People only try to get kills and nothing else. Your videos are excellent. Very helpful in tactics and strats but I feel it is extremely lengthy. You could reduce your video length. Like 4-5minutes video is good enough. But 8-10 minutes is a little too long.

ct side is naturally way harder to carry on. I find trusting on your rotates is the best way to carry. If you rotate right you can save rounds.

+aozora Mapawereness is key. I would recommend playing a rotational spot, where you are more free to help "here and there". Basically, you try to help where the enemy attacks. Then, if you see your teammates are rotating off their spots, when they shouldn't you step in for them(even if it's not your "job") It's all about knowing where your team should have players, in what situations.

+sir dimpulse If you ALWAYS topfrag, and ALWAYS calling neat strats, and ALWAYS entryfrag, you will get to the higher ranks eventually. (If you play with lower ranked friends, you might not rank up as easiliy, as it is "expected" that you should carry) Also, if you run off by yourself "entryfragging" alone, you may not be doing what's best for your team. Maybe you could help your team EVEN more, if you went together with your team, set up some nice trades, and pop some good flashes etc?

I carried my team to 11-4 (we played T side first so it was ez to carry). The next half we won 1 round and lost the game 12-16. How the fuck does one carry on ct side? (I got 29 frags first half and at the end of the game i had 42, rest of my team had 12 to15 frags at the end of the game, Im DMG)

this is typically where having good game sense comes in. Also you can usually read the enemy and their preferred tactics after a few rounds , aka which site they love to rush. as for when the enemy goes for picks and lurks, you just gotta keep track of what happens and try to see the pattern there just so you may counter it next round. also telling your teammates what to do isn't too hard when your the top frag fragger. You've more or less earned their respect by then.

I am silver 3 I always entry frag and get 2 kills or more and then wait for my teammates to get bomb plant. I usually die because of rushes and the idiots lose

you forgot to add that you need to equip the m4a4 becuz your team doesn't give a shit about you and only cares for frags and staying alive and never sets up a crossfire or trade you. Using the m4a1 will only make it so u get 1-2 kills every time they push you and your team just fails to retake becuz they had 2 flashes and a smoke and decided that they don't need that to retake and die to 1 guy with an awp. HOLY SHIT WAS IT HARD TO RANKUP, I CAN GO ON AND ON ABOUT PEOPLE NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO, but i don't care that someone is bad at a game,i care he is the same rank as me and i'm forced to play with him

If your teammate can't understand how you two are going to play together -> It might be easier to look at what position he plays, then set up some kind of crossfire on your own. Let's say inferno, holding B together with some guy. If he plays sandbags, you hide at the corner, and wait for HIM to be first contact. This way you can force a crossfire even if your teammate has no idea how that works. Same goes for T-side. Don't be mad that none tradefrags YOU. Be the guy tradefragging. Follow someone that is quite aggressive, set it up for him, and help him.
