My thought as well In South Africa you can buy that Q5 Audi at most of the Auction Houses for R175 000.00 plus admin fee for R3400.00 way cheaper than this Japanese Imports if your living in another Country you still need to pay import duty

Guys, these cars are parked outside in the Walvis Bay weather and for those who don't know - Walvis Bay has a harsh environment when it comes to salt, so you getting rust for free. Also look closely cars are parked bumper to bumper physically. So expect some damages on all cars. Go and look for yourself in Walvis Bay guys.

@klgast3r4564 ай бұрын
the bumped damage doesn't come from that, when shipped over to Namibia the cars in the containers are bumping sometimes the roof of the car but this isn't always the case, and these guys wouldn't ever bump the rear of a car I've been to the place, yes those cars stand outside in the weather but not all have shipping bumbs, all these cars are genuinely taken good care of by previous owners and serviced too, and the rust can be stopped with a under body and taking your car to the car wash everything week or so or if you've been in mud or water go immediately to the car wash because the salt water in walvis will eat your car!

Beware! My wife brought a car there 3months ago from a salesguy,he wangled it to a private deal and was paid to his bank account instead of Jan Japans. That same car exactly 300km later started throwing many lights and a day after it didnt even wanna go into 3rd gear or further. It was eventually towed away and we were refunded. Beware dodgy salesmen at Jan Japan Walvis Bay

But why did you agree to a private sale? You guys are also wrong because you aided a criminal to carry out his mission
@JW-lg4kw4 ай бұрын
@@thathappened2009 you just assumed? It was not made clear that it was a private sale,the evidence presented itself after the fact. Stop shilling for the same criminals you are accusing us of aiding.

What about registering the car in South Africa , will a south african citizen buy the car from Namibia is there import duties?
@lionheartlrc6 ай бұрын
There are no import fees in Namibia. You might have to pay when you want to register the car in South not here in Namibia. It's possible to register the cars in Namibia. You just have to check if it meets the requirements of the South African government
@chibaba85264 ай бұрын
For your own information South Africa doesn’t allow these cars be registered on their database it’s will kill SA markets

I agree with one has to look at the cost of repairs vs buying something which doesn’t have issue , unless you get quote of the repairs & minus from the cost of the car why selling it like that . These are used cars which needs to be sold in good condition period
