RIP Paul Newman, voice of Doc Hudson. As a NASCAR fan for most of my life, I cannot tell you how HYPED the opening to this movie makes me feel. The classic sights, sounds, camera angles, fans, etc. THEY EVEN BROUGHT IN THE ACTUAL NASCAR BOOTH ANNOUNCERS! They made a real love letter to racing here and I can't get enough of it.

One of the top pixar films ever! It’s got a phenomenal story, beautiful animation, emotional moments and heart warming scenes, wildly inappropriate moments, great research and dedication, and one of the best story arcs ever. Watching lightning go from a narcissistic douche to putting Radiator Springs back on the map is amazing! Also they literally have nascar legends voice characters, they took the crew to Route 66 and other locations that inspired Radiator Springs, real references, and they actually recorded all the cars they’re based on. ❤️⚡️🏆⚡️❤️ 💙🏁🏆🏁💙

My favorite movie as a kid. I collected a bunch of ‘cars’ merchandise. They’re wrong for saying this movie had no promotion. Fact of matter, it’s Pixar biggest merchandisable movie ever along side ‘Toy Story’. I think the toys sales surpassed all of Cars movies Box Office revenue. Don’t see as much merchandise for a Pixar film as ‘Cars’ even today you still see car’s merchandise in Walmart. Also these ‘Cars’ movies created an actual fan based of its own strangely.

Cars is great. I remember watching it in theaters back in 2006. One of the best Pixar movies. I'd put it up there with Toy Story. The Cars sequels aren't as good as this movie unfortunately.

I'd say Cars 3 is great and respectful follow up to the first movie. I know, the first one has this romantic old small dusty town vibe, but Cars 3 was a good cycle to end McQueen's story.

@@ashesGeek Yeah, still, I'd love to see the different ending *potential spoilers ahead*, where McQueen gets dumped and finally gets sponsored by Dinoco much to Texx's delightment. Also worth mentioning we haven't seen McQueen winning a piston cup on screen. Overall the third movie is alright, but I feel like we missed a lot because someone thought it's a good idea to make some random stuff in Cars 2. I'd say it even isn't canon, because literally nothing out of Cars 2 gets mentioned in Cars 3.

This is a pretty good movie! The Rascal Flatts version of Life Is A Highway is such a bop! I remember this movie being promoted though.. like I had McDonalds Happy Meal toys of them and cereal box toys of them too. Cars 2 is meh. Cars 3 was alright. My favorite character is Sally Carrera. Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater are iconic and are great friends 💀 and those Mia and Tia twins are such huge fangirls of Lightning 🤣 plus one thing I question about this movie… how tf do those cars reproduce? And at 46:11, they foreshadow the Planes movie
