The "glitch" is not a glitch at all. The mechanic is called a "burnout", and it's named in the Cars 1 instruction manual. The handling file value "BurnoutThrust" is responsible for how much of an acceleration boost you get out of a burnout. Motoropolis McQueen's "BurnoutThrust" value is four times higher than that of normal characters, thus giving him a much more obvious and greater benefit out of one than other characters.

that glitch with Motoropolis McQueen is so strange but yet so cool! im gonna go and see if this glitch is possible on the Wii version of the game! considering thats the version I own... :P
