Or other stupid things car owners put on their vehicles. It goes into a system. Your license plate also tells them where you live. And it doesn't matter if its your car or not lol. If you run from the cops, that's automatically an impound, as well as jail time. Evading I believe. And idk why people think they can outrun cops. There are small instances where some people get away, but most of the time all the cop cars now can fly at 150 without any engine issues for long distances. It's not like it was 10 years ago where if you did a certain mph cops wouldn't catch you. And you have in air support for them. The likely hood you'll get away is slim and all you do while running is add more charges to what they are gonna hit you with. You go flying by citizens at 150? You're getting an endangering charge as well. Break other traffic laws, they are gonna hit you with that as well. Go through federal school zones, thats a fat ass charge. So take your chances all you want. A 600 dollar ticket for speeding, is better than spending a week in jail, posting thousands in bail, just to have to see a judge months down the road. And better hope he's in a good mood that day, because judges in cali have really stepped up their game on speeding. They are pretty harsh about it. It's all fun and games until your 900whp car gets crushed with the turbos and everything in it. And if you're criminally speeding, they have the right to take the car and everything in it. Then when you're charged it gets either crushed or auctioned off to whoever will give the police department enough money.
