Hi everyone! I’m in my 7th decade of life and love riding motorcycles. Recently I was riding one of my bikes, a 1290 KTM Super Duke R EVO when I pulled up at the lights. A guy riding a custom Harley (?) stopped next to me. When the lights changed he took off at high speed. I decided to accept the challenge. Jesus H Christ! I had no idea my bike had that much torque. Sure I pulled ahead of the Harley but it felt like my arms had just about been pulled out of my sockets. 😅 Getting old sucks! 😊

In the mid 80s. I had a little dirt/street 80cc and outran the local police all the time, cuz I could go where they couldn't. I was just idk...14 maybe. It was legal. IDK what the age and cc limit is today. I ride a much bigger bike now of course. Cops are not supposed to chase bikes. Some just can't help themselves tho. If you pay attention, know the area, you have a much better field of vision and this can be done more safely than a damn automobile. Yet now we have the "ghost car" doing it. On Oahu I saw a motorcycle cop pass us to pull over a speeder. We passed them after they pulled over. Then the cop passed us again and again we passed the cop pulled over with another speeder. I'd guess he was raking in $1500 an hour in tickets. I'll assume the fines could be mailed in. He was catching and pulling them over in less time than it would take for a traffic judge to hear the case.
