Cars definitely can get a guy laid. But with the absolute worst and bottom of the barrel types. I've been in enough situations to see it for myself. When you drive an ultimately exotic car, you get looked at very differently. In fact, one time some girl asked me about a car parked outside if it was mine, and I swear I never saw a girl's eyes light up with intensity like hers did in thinking about a certain car being mine, and when I told her it wasn't my car, you should have seen how quick the switch shut off in her eyes and the intensity was lost and she became really cold and indifferent. One thing I can guarantee Men, however, is that you will NEVER have enjoyable or exotic sex with the type of girl who loves you for your car, and if you do get laid, that one night will likely be the only night you see her. It's not worth it. The types who are into that sort of lifestyle are CONTROLLING and she will try to control you if even for that one night or will do something really messed up. They are dangerous. Sex will never be good with a girl unless SHE is 100% physically and sexually attracted to YOU, not your possessions, and that you both are sexually compatible. Mediocre sex is not worth it, and the risks that come with a Mediocre experience are not worth it at all.
@prussiansocietyofamerica
@prussiansocietyofamerica 2 жыл бұрын
@Throw Away Exactly. Believe it, it's much more worth it that way, even as few exist like that in reality these days, if the girl likes you in the realest sense, she won't care about your situation and if anything she would be contributing. A Man should never have to prove himself to a girl, the girl should always be more obsessed with you and looking to do everything for you. When you are in the position of needing to impress or prove to her, that means the attraction (if there even is any) will fade and the relationship will become toxic sooner than you think.

Cappy, I would like to make a point here though. Luxury cars like Mercedes and BMWs are useless, but not new cars in general. The newest car I've ever had was 9 years old when I got it, I'll never buy a new car, like you said it's for transportation. But SOMEBODY has to keep buying these new cars, otherwise there would be no used cars 10 years from now and eventually the supply of used cars would dry up. Yes the older cars were made of metal and can still last a lot longer, but no car can last an eternity. So we need these dumbasses to keep buying them to keep our supply of used cars coming. Also fuck cash for clunkers destroying our supply, that was a ploy to make people buy new cars and lower the supply of reasonable used cars and to keep the high interest car payments going for the banks.

Went to highschool and college in KY, and on Facebook back then there was an interesting trend that bothered me for a reason I couldn't exactly explain at the time. Basically, people would get a new job, post about it. Then not even 4 weeks later they've got a post showing off a new, financed car. Now that I'm much more financially literate, it's like wow so you got more money but then threw it away immediately. People loved to brag about whatever title they held, but when you look at the balance sheet, the income increase that came with it was cancelled out. They were the manager of this or lead of that with no real money to show for it. At the end of the day, people only care about affording the monthly payments. The financial industry and lack of fin ed has done a great job at making expensive things seem affordable. Also, my theory lately has been that most people deep down don't see themselves going very far in life. So having a job to afford a nice car is like the finish line for them. Sad. Also, a lack of fin ed has people convinced that retirement happens at a certain age and not at a certain amount of money that can pay for your life without working.

I've been saying for years that car insurance is a scam. The loss ratio is like 80%, among the most profitable of all lines, meaning that the insurer keeps 20 cents on every policy dollar and still gets to keep dividends, interest and capital gains on the float. Unless it's for solid business reasons, the only reason you're buying car insurance above the gov-mandated minimum is because either A) the bank is making you, implying you're buying a car you couldn't afford without a loan or B) you can't afford the replacement cost. Both mean you're buying way too much car, among the fastest-depreciating assets, for your budget.

Tip on removing splinters: use an X-acto knife. They're razor sharp. If you can see the splinter, just trace along the splinter with the knife, which will cut down to it, then get under neath the splinter and kind of pluck it out with the knife. Just a bit of subtle self-surgery. No digging, which is bad. Then flood it with something to prevent infection, like alcohol or Bactine. My preference is Listerine-the yellow kind, of course, not anything with flavor.

I lived in a trailer park in my 20’s. 3000 dollars to buy a rather nice single wide trailer, and only 175-200 a month lot rent, subsequently. Had an oversized master bedroom on the end, to house my music studio,… trailer was just big and nice enough to accommodate my needs, and not cost a fortune to heat or cool. Was probably the wisest, and most frugal, means of housing myself, throughout my 20’s, until later, I inherited a bunch of property. I did, initially have this gaudy pimp-mobile, cause prior, I had been using it to transport exotic dancers, to and from the clubs, as a kind of ‘job’ while I was in college. I ended, up scrapping it, while I lived there, after gutting all the stereo system and bullshit upgrades like the PlayStation, and video screens, cause by that time, in spite of how it looked, the car was a worn out pile of shit, from all the miles, accrued, and the majority of the critical components, all pretty much wore out simultaneously. Bought an even older car, and still driving it, over a decade later. Frankly, wouldn’t pass too much quick judgement on people living in trailer parks. One dude, who moved across the street, owned loads of farmland, and had a bunch of properties leased out. It was just a frugal way to house himself, while he raked in more money, from his leases. Some folk, owned homes away, but used the trailer as a place to crash, throughout the work week, to reduce the burden of a daily commute. There’s a myriad of reasons, for buying a home, in a trailer park, aside it being the only thing you can afford. It certainly, beats over-paying for a cramped apartment, with little to no reliable parking. Besides, if you manage to stay aloof from the trashier neighbors’ drama,… the frequent entertainment, is more than worth the price of admission.

Gotta agree on that! My second "trailer" was $800 cash because the tweakers had stripped the copper pipe from underneath,(wiring was aluminium), so I redid it in plastic for $200 on a weekend. It was my summer home in Colorado while working on a power plant and working Vegas in the winter. There were guys paying $300-350 a week for a room with a tiny fridge and a micro. I had full sized kitchen appliances. Used the money I saved to buy a 3/4 ton, 4 wheel drive truck,(in 2008), that I still drive. Also had a 1990 Olds V6 at the time to use as a daily to save gas. I now live on 3,5 acres in a tiny but nice "trailer" in rural TX. It's all bought and paid for. I could care less what people think, including this jackoff that rambles on endlessly about senseless crap but somebody follows him so he can look down on people that actually work.

@@TexasRiverRat31254 Naturally, outsiders, who’ve never lived in a trailer park, are gonna paint it with a broad brush of stereotypes, but to be fair, those stereotypes do persist for a reason, in spite of nuance. Trailer Park Boys, isn’t too far of an exaggeration, from my experiences either. The fact of the matter is, not everyone residing in a trailer park is necessarily, broke or poor, either. It’s generally a community of all sorts. It’s the old school version of that tiny-home fad, that’s persisted the past decade. What Cappie’s is failing to recognize, is much of the folk, in the trailer parks can afford the nice cars, because they don’t have a mortgage, or paying an extortionate amount of rent for their home. I now reside in my Great Grandpa’s 191 year old mill house, on about four acres. I’ve lived here, on and off, since infancy, and incidentally, I pay monthly installments on the property taxes, and wouldn’t ya know it, but, they work out to be roughly what my trailer’s lot rent was, back in the day. I was no less a home owner, then, as I am now. I just didn’t own the lot, I’m which my home was parked on! Nothing wrong with residing in a trailer. I’d like to get another trailer, and put it on my adjacent lot, that’s zoned for another building. Either, to lease it, or reside in it myself, and dedicate the entirety of the mill house to the studio, and make up the cost difference, by not having to heat the entirety of a 3 story, former duplex apartment building, 9 months of the year. 😊

Here are a few disadvantages of a trailer in Fl. Because of the hurricanes, it is difficult to get a loan or insurance on a trailer. They better be anchored to the ground securely, termites and other insect infestation can be a problem. In the summer they get incredibly hot, yes you can run the A/C but, most trailers are insulated poorly, and running an A/C unit 24/7 can get expensive. They don't go up in value, they depreciate like a car. There are some advantages, like cost and if is going to be your home for the winter it can be cost-effective. Talk to people that have trailers in Florida for additional information.

Hate to disagree with you on this one Aaron. Before I met my Asian honey and got married, when I cutting a swath through the western poonetee as Popp would say, I bought a new Jaguar XJ6, (all cash and metallic claret in color tan leather all around) with a personalized license plate that said "No Wife" and I had to beat the women off of me. They would leave notes and/or their business cards under the windshield wiper asking me to give them a call. It was a hell of a time...like fishing with hand grenades. Then I met my young Asian beauty (25 years younger than moi) who was in grad school for a medical profession and I hung up the jock strap. Cars can work.

I currently drive the car that I was lusting after in college. I have a 2008 Honda Civic EX-L with every damn option they put in the things except for in-dash Sat nav which I would never use anyway. Oh and by the way it's paid off now as of last month. I love it and my plan is to restore it and just keep driving it for at least another five to 10 years. I remember once, I got a ride from this old dude, and when I got into the car, I said, "Gee, this car is nicer than my house!" It was a Lincoln Town Car, LOL, and it WAS nicer than my house. I know, a Lincoln's an old man's car, but it was still pretty nice. I drove around for a while, back in the 90's, in a 1961 Chrysler Imperial. If you want to see what that looks like, look up a picture. People used to call it the Batmobile, because of the fins, but the Batmobile was a Ford. Mine was dark blue with a white leather interior. Pretty snazzy. One of my pals said to me, "That must be a real chick magnet", because it was still in really good condition. But it wasn't. It was just a little bit too eccentric. Also, it was about 35 years old (at the time). So I was just another dude driving an old car, and, worse than that, a weird dude because I was driving a car no one ever saw before. But I didn't buy it to "get chicks". I just thought it was too cool to pass up for the price I paid ($3000).

Then I sat down one day with a pencil and a yellow pad and figured out, with the payments and insurance and everything else, how much it would cost me each time I drove that car. It came out to something like 50 bucks. In 1990's dollars. When I found it would be cheaper to take a cab everywhere I went, I decided I could do without a new car. A yellow pad and a pencil have saved me a lot of money in my lifetime.

I paid $52K cash for my 1967 Corvette 14 years ago. Tuxedo black exterior with tan interior. Took me 3 years of research to find. Currently increased in value $18,000 more than I paid. That's a 34% profit in 13 years. Even the S&P 500 investments only averages 9%. A true investment I can enjoy. I'm self-employed, so it's ALMOST my daily driver, unless I need more room. The car does not have a trunk. I have a used lexus ($5K) that I use for groceries or transporting shelving bought from Goodwill or if i need to buy something and keep it in the trunk while running errands. The Vette is cheap to fix (some parts can be bought at Autozone), mechanics LOVE working on it and it doesnt take them long at all: everything comes apart and back together with a wrench. I have a special mechanic that looks it over once per year to make sure things dont fall apart on me....that's about $400/year, but still cheaper than financing anything. It's a lotta fun to tinker with: finding locking pins here, replace carpeting there, upgraded shoulder seat belts here.... The Vette community is AWESOME. We hang out for brunch and smoke cigars well into the afternoon some days. When i do get tired of it.....i'll at least make the money back, if not a profit. It's not a choice for everyone, but i've crunched the numbers - before and after purchase -- and it's been a winning move.

I bought my first truck that way. I bought a left over 1984 F-150 in 1987 for 5K. Brand New - but never sold. It never sold because it was a 2 wheel drive, shiate brown with tan cloth interior, no radio, manual shift... nobody wanted it. I drove it for 15 years and sold it for 12500 on the way out. Great work truck but shiat on gas. Worthless for a city commute. The restrictions were that they had only be 'merican cars - no imports. They also sell Harley Davidsons

@@geton411- Did you read the comment? Because you get to know them, a little, know where they live, know their mentality. THEN, after knowing a large sampling, you find they are all the same - goofballs impostering, just pretending to be something they aren't. Basically it's fraud. It's the same dumb sh-t whether in the northern city, black, ghetto or country types living in the hills outside Atlanta, Georgia. There, they "cruise" in circles around a town square in flash cars on Friday or Saturday nights. You see, I base it on REAL LIFE experience with all kinds of different people - poor, but play the imposter game. Being from the North, or Midwest, we invested in things that would appreciate in value - houses, have nice houses, for instance- cars were just transportation. But in parts of the South, they were very poor, their living situation substandard, BUT they would spend all their money on superficial appearances , items that quickly go down in value. Unlike a leftist, the assessment is based on known things, on reality.. That's why conservative is generally correct and a leftist is full if it, just pushing damaging false promises. Now, IF you are talking about a CRIMINAL, that has illicit money, that's a different argument. How slick are they if they don't live long or spend half their Ives in prison ??? They are phonies, too ! The sad part is, IF they had invested in quality morals, good behavior, RESPONSIBLE behavior, then, even if starting poor, they could still improve themselves. But instead, they choose to be fake quality, bad investors. For some reason, the black, single mother, families, North or South, usually have very bad behaving kids headed for crime. But in Jacksonville, FL, I saw a black couple with a large number of kids, at a restaurant. At first, I thought, I don't wanna sit near THAT. But, then I saw the stern mother sat at one end, the serious father at the other end of the table and controlled the kids whom didn't dare misbehave. THAT was a decent black family with kids probably who will do well in life. It was nice to see. I almost wanted to shake that father's hand - good job, man !

It's why Marxism has much more trouble, establishing in America, than Europe. Marxism tries to smash the middle class between thieves and scammer parasites, whom DONT pull their own weight, at the top and bottom, the top schemers, and bottom useful idiots, whom take what they never earned, without giving any benefit. You see, I actually do know what I am talking about. Finally, no, it's not my preference. You said that, not me. Its not me you should care about. Its bad choices. But I don't care ! But you should. Its simple - either be a responsible adult, be accountable- or not. I have no part in your decisions. You are the one that will face life consequences. But here's the thing - you dont just hurt yourself with bad decisions. You make society, itself, less. It's not just about you. Yet, considering America's demographic trajectory. The country is circling the drain. It's uncorrectable without some very harsh social reset. We are headed towards a cliff and nothing is being done to stop it. The present course is non-sustainable. We are spending down past capital, contributing little in intellectual thought or infrastructure for the future. Almost every pure scientific discovery was made generations ago- 100 years ago. The average IQ is declining rapidly with diversity. It simply is. Fact, not opinion. Look at the pilfering top level criminal class- Democrats and RINO's, woke, fascist, corporations all the same team, a uniparty. THEY decided the people that maintain society, the middle, their real bosses, are targets. They are intensely un- American.They are trying to reorganize society to suit the top 1% globalist criminal, fascist, class. They became the opposite of what the old aristocracy used to be, whom back then really did aim for social improvement. Fast forward to today. We aren't in anything together anymore. Maybe we need to hasten the collapse, not resist it, if thats the deal. Look at them. Look what contempt these parasites hold of their betters. It is their deal. So be it. The odds are the people in the park do not own the cars. They are leased.

But I know a lot of house owners and renters who lease too. Clarey is all a out minimalism but wouldn't living in a trailer be minimalism? Such double standards with humans.

Can we not own a $50K vehicle outright and not appear to be a fool? There’s exceptions to the rule. Nobody knows I own it, but most around me lease/payments. I could care less. I enjoy my vehicle. It’s my only vehicle.

Sports car? You must mean muscle cars, the American thing. I see them every where too in LA, more than Sports cars (like Porsche, Ferrari) & even tuners (Honda, Nissan).

2017 Buick regal. Bought it used from hertz rent a car. Former rental. 42, 000 miles. It came with two year's warranty and free oil changes thru a pep boys deal they had. That was back at the end of 2018/ 2019.

No wheels right now. Last car I had was an 86 Chevy Caprice station wagon. Bought it for $2000 when it was 15 years old and had 80,000 miles. Drove it for 20 years and put another 140,000 miles on it before I had to send it to the happy hunting ground. Been thinking of buying another car but can't bring myself to part with the money.

I have a custom 4wd, a custom 2wd, a custom hotrod and put my folks in an Escalade. Paid cash for all 4. Honestly the 4wd was only $100 cuz the previous owner never changed distributor cap so it didn't run,, and the 2wd was $800 cuz idiot kid got his gf pregnant. Then it's my hobby to go scour junkyards for other parts that fit and look good. People see em n say "wish mine looked that good." I say it's easy, buy it cheap n do repairs that can be made custom and pay CASH! They don't want to do the work that I do. 4wd was rebuilt almost ground up. They're not that new of vehicles either. Escalade is newest at 2000 and its still in awesome shape cuz I take care of my investments. But I also only do this for me. Someone compliments me I say thanks. I like walkin away n lookin back at my hard work. I walk in my garage or walk out to my driveway and it's full of my blood sweat and beers. Just last weekend I did full 4 inch drop, axle swap and brakes on my 2wd to get the look I LIKED. Now I walk past it n smile that I bled to do the work. No one else likes it, water off a ducks back. Next investment besides my house, maybe a dually crew cab chevy from 90s if price isn't ridiculous. It's beautiful. But I actually use my trucks as trucks. Get a lot of scrap from building vehicles and trees always fall when it storms. Can't pull a tree with a Honda civic n can't haul scrap in a mini cooper.
