I have been sharing your work for a few years now. A great songwriter, with inspiring radicalism. Beautiful inside and out.

Thank you for stating these views. I am not Jewish, so I feel it is less impactful to state the colonization aspect. I have Jewish relatives (great-grandfather was a Jewish Russian) and am not anti-sematic. I understand the history of oppression and horrors. But nothing justifies oppression and murder of innocent others. I really believe there is an awakening happening and you are one of us trying to facilitate it. Music is powerful.

wow. I already liked her music.....I was scared in these times, to look up her politics..figured 'liberal'....though you know........but now I love her even more. Of the great jewish American tradition of humanism .....that goes back to anarchists and socialists of the late 1800's......now I have to go listen to four CDs I bought on sale from her!!!!

Carsie, KZbin delivered your music and thoughts to me for the first time in this quiet and beautiful corner of England where it is relatively easy to forget the desperate realities faced by so many. Thank you for singing out and sharing your potent songs. I couldn't agree more about musicians playing engaging protest songs but, playing in a small town rhythm and blues band all about getting people to let their hair down on a Friday or Saturday night, I find it hard to encourage fellow band members, all similarly left leaning, to play politicised sings. They always argue that people don't want to hear it when they are out for a good time - I disagree, music brings folk together, dancing together while sharing empathies is joyous and uplifting. It's about enervating folk to make or embrace change. Please, keep on keeping on!

A sponsored Facebook add came up on my feed today of a cute curly-haired gal with a guitar. I had never heard your voice before! I was spellbound from just that short clip! Had to go search for you on KZbin to see/hear more! Will definitely buy your new album! I'm also a long time songwriter musician!

8:28 [to radically change society we need artists to create the right emotional tone…] If an ongoing music festival, so to speak, was created for this purpose, who would y’all want as artists performing? Carsie of course, but who else?

hmmm jewish woman who grew up in a cult and didn't go to school with an eccentric upbringing somehow has no connection to other jewish people? weird but not surprising. still, i am sure one day you will see the plight of your people and connect with us. we love you and will keep the door open for you.

Hmmm... condescending smug "sphincter of a wild mule" tells Jewish woman she isn't Jewish enough because she isn't a Zionist. Maybe one day you will wake up and feel guilt. Or shame. Or literally any human emotion what so ever.
