The Seltos is stylish, roomy, and available with plenty of the latest technology and safety features. It's rather quick, too, as long as you get the optional turbocharged engine. Comfort is lacking, however, and it's not particularly fun to drive. But overall, this little Kia SUV is worth a look.

I bought one of these puppies a couple weeks ago - a very pretty 2025 Deep Ocean Blue EX with AWD. The amount of features Kia included for the price is truly a great value for your new car buying dollar. However, for yours truly, the overly firm fake leather driver's seat is literally proving to be a major pain in my backside. I figured after my two test drives that I'd get used to it, but now I'm already considering ditching the car for something a lot more comfortable. (I'll see if the memory foam lumbar pillow I bought at AutoZone yesterday has any effect.) Let this be a word of caution to any potential Seltos buyers reading this - be extra doubly certain the seat is comfortable for you right off the lot, because if it isn't, walk away immediately. Your lower back will thank you in the long run.

Don’t forget that the top of the range model comes with a full size alloy spare wheel.

I have to agree with John's comments. I had a 2024 Seletos S that an uninsured driver totalled while it was parked. That was cloth seats and more comfortable than the 2025 Seltos EX I replaced it with. The add ons in it are nice, but the seats I as well thought I would get accustomed to. It's been about a week and it is a rough ride. I even checked if the tires sizes were not the same or maybe the frame required a less comfortable ride, but they are same. As of this point I am not to happy and already took a heafty loss so trading it in is not an option now or in the future. Crossing my fingers my booty just needs to break that seat in or cushion time it is. So buyer beware regarding the seats and seats only in my oppinion. Everything else obviously I loved since I bought the same car again.
