NEW Seltos Owner here!!. I’ve had mines for 6months and I love it so far. I bought a 2024 used XLine model with only 2,000 miles on it for $24k. No issues with the truck at all. It runs smooth & handling is great. I love the interior & exterior design. Infotainment system has a tone of features, but I mainly just use Apple car play & Kia Connect. The car has a mysterious /futuristic vibe to it. People love it and are curious about it when I pull up in public & are shock and surprised when they find out that it’s a Kia. Only 4 Negatives - It’s burns the fuel very quickly! fuel efficiency is not the greatest. 365 miles for a full tank. - Recommend they improve on their audio system. I’ll probably install an aftermarket system. - Lane assistance. It got annoying. The front camera doesn’t always recognize a merging lane or exit lane sometimes. I ended up turning it off in the settings. - No Ofcourse it’s not fast. Don’t expect it to be. Even with sport mode lol

I have been researching quite a few vehicles for a future purchase and it looks like this one is just about top of my list. This one has a good engine, decent price and really good options. Not to mention the top warranty in the industry. I will keep my eyes on this one.

I have this drivetrain in a Kia Soul, and it’s performed well for over 79k miles.

Love the video but the Halogen lights in 2024 for a 2025 model is really cheap. The car looks nice.

i really like the design, but they should do a range rover style front grille it'll look better

Wow no major difference I have the same exact car in this video but my car is 2024. I was expecting upgrades since it was 2025 but everything is still the same pretty much. If you are interested in this car I will say its a beautiful car and it stands out compared to other cars. Kia did a great job with Plutton Blue color on the seltos.I love my car and would highly recommend it❤

Wired Android Auto/Carplay and halogen lighting...I'm sorry, but is this a typo and you meant 2015 Kia Seltos? Surely this is a mistake and this isn't actually a 2025 vehicle?

Yeah Kia movement that inspires that's a nice SUV but the technology needs to be upgraded ASAP

It’s just a shame that a suv has no towing capacity. Can’t even tow a jet ski to the lake with the turbo version without worrying about voiding the warranty. The little Toyota Corolla Cross is rated for 1500 lbs towing from the manufacturer.

OH GEE....ANOTHER RECALL...... This time it is KIA EV6. Yup. 62,000 EV6's. WHY is every Japanese & Korean vehicle made in the good ole USA being recalled for everything under the hood of the vehicle? Can't American workers give us QUALITY and RELIABILITY as the same as Japanese workers??? Just asking.
@jorgeml8112Ай бұрын
So you telling me that forcing car brands to manufacture in USA rather than MEXICO was a bad move? I mean both have qualified workers but the american one is more expensive and don’t give better quality
@royhughes2854Ай бұрын
@@jorgeml8112 What I am saying is it "APPEARS" that vehicles that are 100% made in Japan are NOT the ones that are being recalled, that are NOT the ones with metal shavings are inside the engines that are seizing entire engines and require complete replacement, and are NOT the transmissions that are being internally destroyed by 50,000 miles, and are NOT the ones failing for so many other parts.
@jorgeml8112Ай бұрын
@@royhughes2854 Interesting, I wonder if those same cars were built in Mexico would have the same problems ?
@royhughes2854Ай бұрын
@@jorgeml8112 When I posed the question to the MSN chatbox, it says the Alabama plants for Toyota/Mazda and the one for Honda are the source of the recalls and the engine failures.

Yea Kia - Hyundai and Ford sure have the recalls. You see soooo many recalls its insane. I purchased a 2023 Nissan Kicks SR with the Premium Package brand new in October of 2023 and it has had no recalls which is great. Overall I love the Kicks and all its features like heated seats, heated steering wheel, 8 speaker Bose audio with headrest speakers, 360 surround view cameras, rear automatic braking, led headlights, led drl’s, led fog lights, led tail lights, digital automatic intelligent climate control, remote start on the key fob and Nissan app, sos button, wifi, telematics, and the gray/black/orange primatex seats are sharp. It was a great bargain for a loaded top trim SR Premium for $26,130.00. Nissan had many CVT issues back in the day mainly due to Jatco who makes them and Mitsubishi and Nissan have used the Jatco CVT for a long time. Each generation of their CVT got better and the new Jatco made CVTs are pretty good as long as you just do the fluid flush every 30,000 - 60,000 miles like is recommended. We have owned 6 Mitsubishis a 15 Mirage, 16 Outlander Sport, 17 Mirage G4, two 19 Eclipse Crosses, and a 21 Mirage. All of them had Jatco CVTs and we never had one issue or hiccup and our 19 Eclipse Cross SEL Touring we still have is 5.5 years old and no issues. My 23 Kicks has the Jatco CVT 7 which is the same one used in the Mitsubishi Mirages and Nissan Versas and its pretty good lil CVT and more reliable than most. Our 19 Eclipse Cross has a different model Jatco CVT but has been flawless. Anyway its a shame all these issues with new cars due to all the electronics like the new RAMS and GM trucks that people are paying insane prices for and are breaking down. I did not do much research on the reason but thats a shame. Then all the Hyundai and Kia Fires is scary! Then Nissan had their years with horrible CVTs with the 1st and 2nd gen Jatco CVTs but have gotten pretty good now. Then now Toyota is even having issues with all their new Turbo engines in the Tacoma and Tundra. Toyota always used proven powertrains for years and years and naturally aspirated ones and it made them so reliable. I prefer naturally aspirated engines. Its seems each and every manufacturer is having issues its just some or minor issues here and there where others are plagued with issues.

Sure! Kia has a bunch of great models, like the Kia Telluride, which is super spacious and perfect for families. They also have the sporty Kia Stinger if you're into something that looks sleek and drives fast.

HP is a joke! Honda CRV is 190hp, RAV4 is 203hp. And they are around the same price. The HP of this SUV is the main reason I wouldn't buy it.
