Just bought a 2023 CPO sonata limited NON hybrid 11 days ago. Bright red paint and tan interior. Absolutely love it, had to drive 450 miles from home to get a honest dealership. Paid $28,500 had 7800 miles. Getting 46 mpg on highway. Yes that's NOT a typo. Set adaptive cruise at 70 on I-81.

We own the 2020 Limited. We have 30,000 miles on it. The camera system is outstanding. Truly allows you to focus on driving and use mirrors and sensors to verify safe lane changes. It’s been pretty trouble free 15:32 . We leased so if there’s an issue we just take it into the dealer. My only issue is road noise. I think it’s loud but I’m super picky about that. We’re looking to roll into the 2023 model since lease is about up. My wife does not want to give up all the safety features of this car and I’m not sure any can compare at this price point.

Gorgeous car. I have a 2012 Hyundai Azera Limited. Adore it. The only drawback I can nitpick on this 23 Sonata is.... many of the things you'll be touching often are in a high gloss black. Fingerprints, fingerprints and more fingerprints. That'll require more cleaning very often. So, it'll get scratches and scuff marks very quickly.
@CarsMadeSimple2 жыл бұрын
The Azera was a very nice vehicle indeed! The gloss black in the Sonata would require a little extra work to keep looking nice but it all depends on your use case.

I’m in Australia and we just took delivery of the N-Line model. It’s the same white as this one. We only get the N-Line version here, good thing is we get all the extras of this model reviewed but we don’t get the remote start/parking and internal mood lighting. So we get all luxury options and some grunt 💪🏼 on top 😜
@CarsMadeSimple2 жыл бұрын
We have the N-Line here as well with the 2.5T. It has most of the options of the Limited but missing a few such as those mentioned. There is one inbound so hopefully I can do a video on it to complete the lineup on Sonata's.
@markpaterson60242 жыл бұрын
@@CarsMadeSimple look forward to seeing your thoughts on it, it’s definitely a head turner. Love the overall shape and subtle contours and then the aggressive black side and rear skirts. So far my only observation of things that could be better is more body insulation to reduce road noise, on some surfaces it’s very noticeable.

Hi, I have the 2023 Sonata. I saw videos saying the hybrid battery needs maintenance to extend the battery life. I was able to find the vents that lead to the hybrid battery but I can't find where the filters is that leads to the hybrid battery. I saw that the filter needs to be cleaned or the battery will over heat. Do you know where the filter is for the hybrid battery is in the 2023 model? Thanks for your time.

I just bought this car a week ago and I love driving it! Question: How often does 2023 Sonata need oil change? Couldn't really find an exact info anywhere.

Hey Jaehawa, my friend is a mechanic at Hyundai dealership, and he said the models with turbo ( I'm driving a 2022 sonata limited 1.6T) needs oil service every 4500 miles, because the oil loses properties due to excessive heat generated by the turbo. The other models without turbo ( Sonata SE, SEL) requieres service every 7500 miles.
@ZWarrior892 жыл бұрын
@@fernandonenger7901 interesting. This probably is a dumb statement: but I don't know which one I have. Turbo or not, SE or SEL, I just know I have 2023 Hyundai Sonata. But the person that helped me at the dealership also told me every 7,500 miles too.

I was in the market for a (used) Lexus ES 250 or 350, but assuming that this is a smooth, quiet ride this Sonota may be the winner (especially compared to the es 250) They’re darn close in size as well in terms of interior n exterior

The mirrors will save at the position you have them set at the time of saving the setting with the button. So adjust everything for your driving position, then save using whichever button you wish on the door.

So..I'm in the market for a new vehicle currently. I had a 2021 rav4 hybrid xse for a year and 13k miles. I sold it because I had the opportunity to make $5k over msrp rofl, and I wanted something different. I really want a tesla model 3, 2023 telluride, or an explorer st, but they all cost too much for me currently. I was thinking maybe sonata (I'd probably go hybrid) but I'd want a limited and they are like $37.5k which is just too much imho for a few sedan. So, I ordered another rav4- AWD/really good fuel economy/bigger vehicle overall compared to a sonata, and I'm sure better resell value over a hyundai. There are definitely options on the sonata that I would like to have (ventilated seats, turn signal cameras on the gauge cluster, being able to adjust temperature/fan speed and seats from the app, more steering torque [for comma ai openpilot], HUD, probably other things..) but I just can't justify the cost.
@CarsMadeSimple2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. You'll like today's video if you wanted the Hybrid 😉. I am glad you were able to take advantage of the market on your old vehicle. Is comma ai available for the Sonata? I know it's somewhat universal but also somewhat vehicle specific.
@drewmurphy2796 Жыл бұрын
If you are comparing a base model rav4 to a limited Sonota, obviously the sonata is going to cost more. All cars are expensive nowadays, but 37k is for a fully loaded model, you could spend 26k and get the base model.

What exactly is the memory seating?
@CarsMadeSimple2 жыл бұрын
You can save two seating positions and often if the vehicle has power mirrors and power steering wheel column it will save those too. This is good for two drivers who sit in different positions. Simple move everything to your driving position, save it via one of the buttons, and every time you want to move the seat (and mirrors) to that position just press the button.

What in the world with a vehicle that leaves not too much to the imagination in regards to options, Hyundai & Kia have continued not to offer rear heated seats! What is reason that so many vehicles not all but those primarily in this price range do not offer any option for this much needed feature? They offer it in the Tucson Limited & the Santa Fe Limited!
