It’s amazing to see how the politics of the time affected coin collecting. It’s easy to see you put time into learning this information and bringing it to us. Thank you.

Thank you for watching, Bass Man! I always thought that it was one factor - the decline of the Comstock Lode that determined the end of the Carson City Mint, but there were other factors, including politics. And, then the actions after mintage determined how many survived for us to collect, and in what shape the coins were in.

💯 to you ! The coins I like !! I'm new and line a just born baby Calf ! I got into stacking 7 mo. Ago . I had only purchase a couple of slabs that I liked cause they jumped out and the other just reminded me of my gandma . Who raised me and hung on to her morgan an peace dollars like it was gold. She didn't have many raising me and my sister . But I remember seeing them from time to time cause she make candy to make extra money and if she got a couple of them she would put them away. So that is why I love the peace & morgan dollars and that is what's drawing me into nunismatic coin's/ slabs. Now seeing this and getting a pretty good volume of knowledge ! I plain on diving into them even more. I did however come across a B.U. Roll of Morgan's and may have paid a touch to much ! But ! I wanted them for my sock drawer to pass on to the kid's hopefully oneday and several other's that I plan on to . Aquire in the future . Thx. For the video ! I'm sub. & learn from an veteran in the field here. 💯 💯 💰

Amazing coins brother. I’m enjoying your vids. That 92cc is a beaut. They all are. I’m looking for an 79cc & 80cc to finish my early cc set circa 78-85. I have a love for CC too. Thanks for the video.

Awesome coins. Awesome history. Darn Democrats. Leave our coins alone. Ever wonder if the owners son buried CC coins on your property?

"Ever wonder if the owners son buried CC coins on your property?"....all of the time! When my wife and I go for walks, I tell her "keep your eyes peeled for an out-of-place pile of rocks"..... lol.

ps - I did a vocal typo in the video...the son of the ranch owner left the mint in 1893...figures.
