Sharia Law contradicts our Constitution and beliefs influence behaviour, so can you really blame Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Athiest and Homosexuals for having trust issues with a Muslim holding the highest political position in the western world, because when you look at the current islamic countries either your rights or your life is taken away just for being who you are. I wouldn't vote for anyone that can potentially threaten our constitution and that's what Ben Carson is implying only that I would consider it as treason, that goes for communist and socialist alike.

Reciting a non exciting scripture discredits the Quran, its like that exercise teachers do in a classroom whispering in the kids ear to say Orange throughout the entire classroom and the last kid ends up saying banana.

I want to say that Mr Carson is a very educated man, I have read all of his books and he is a reasonable guy but I am disappointed. Being a Muslim that comes from a Muslim country where women and men are equal and are treated with equal respect and dignity, I am sad to hear that no one agrees that are slim can be the leader of the USA. We are not terrorists. There are extremists and there are the regular people who live the innocent live that you and I both live in. We are all equal there by we should all have an equal chance without considering the fact that they are a specific religion. In his book he tells us to THINK BIG. We need to broaden our minds and accept the fact that we all have red blood and equal potential. I wanted to become like Mr Carson when I get older but this is disappointing that he cannot follow his own ideology. I and most Muslims that read his book are dissapointed.

At 2:05, Carson says," We have a constitution and we do not put people at the leadership of our country whose faith might interfere with them carrying out the duties of the constitution."....Sounds EXACTLY like what Kim Davis did. Although he did not condemn her, to Carson's credit, he didn't fly to Kentucky or give Davis an award, and hinted at the time that she did not act in accordance with the constitution. But for all Carson's support of constitutional primacy, he doesn't seem to be familiar with the article VI.

I'm asking for the sake of understanding, not to make a statement. The question is, even if a "Muslim President" denounced Sharia Law and all other items that do not side with the Constitution.... is there not an item in the Quaran stating that you can not kill your fellow Muslims or Muslim faith leaders? I could have sworn I heard something of the sort. Does this then mean that this "Muslim President" would not wage war on terrorism for the protection of the United States of America or it's Allies because of this? I'm legitimately curious on how that works.
