My device has an Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but wow! Comparing this game to Asphalt 9, Asphalt 9 was far better in graphics, mechanisms, etc. Unite just looks soo cartoonish and DAMN, the new physics literally destroyed many of the good cars including the Devel. Absolutely disappointed, feels like I'm playing Asphalt Nitro 2.

Bro SAME this was my issue too...the graphics looked worse despite being at max and there was no lag but many glitchs and some even caused your device to lag badly😂😂...I thought it was my device fault but this only happened when it glitched and normally it ran like butter😢

​@@D4rlX Same issues man. I have Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, if it can run 60fps on Genshin, ain't no way the fps dips in the new Asphalt 9. The old Asphalt 9 never had this issue, but new Asphalt 9 shockwave animation and the tyres running through maps with soil can't maintain the fps. I just hope it's optimization issue, and it'll be fixed soon.

theres actually a reason for this, this is because asphalt legends unite switched to Vulkan API Graphics Engine which is known to be a bit unstable and weird in fast motion, so right now the graphics look ultra creamy, pixelated and is unoptimized. They will soon fix all the issues with an optimization patch, on PC and PS4/Xbox the graphics are STUNNING, and is so well optimized the recommended requirements is a mid-range graphics card from 2008

A9 used to run very smoothly on my phone but ALU is lagging alot. Plus on this devise the graphics isn’t much of an upgrade maybe even downgrade. And I had delete multiple apps just for the update.

I really like the new lighting system, headlights being toggled, shadows because I find it fun to see it return when you land, MP giving more rewards and a down to earth series score progression, popo cars added so I can run in Asphalt Security because they have ran back to me because I’m so difficult for them to bust me, and the garage levels updated. I will miss some of the exclusive engine sounds from Switch because they brought more of a premium feeling than the current sounds worldwide has. That I wished the PC and console version had the Switch engine sounds because I know they have the Xbox nitro click sounds, which I also like. Either way, beggars can’t be choosers, so I got to deal with the ASMR V12 version and the other cars sounding like the others.

Asphalt 9 looks better my pc had the ability to run it perfectly and now Unite with this "NEW" engine looks worse and performs worse I was able to play a9 with 60 fps without any lags and now Unite is running at that graphic setting at 20 fps..... Totally disappointed

Usually games are made monochromatic too enhance the visuals but with the purple filter I've always seen it makes things worse. Just compare Carbon with Underground 2, Carbon looks worse because of the purple filter.

There are few improvements I noticed, 1. Global shadows are improved and look more realistic. 2. Nitro looks more realistic. 3. Adrenaline mode gives little-bit vibe of NFS unbound. 4. Light effects are also improved. (Light reflections in cars and headlight on night maps)

Worse anti-aliasing (like FXAA and MSAA) + worse anisotropic filtering = u can see it in the trees, the leaves look terrible

I am new player I started in this July. I have say that their bunch of thing I don't like about ALU. They give less credit in credit heist and in A9 and ALU story mode they give less credit. They should at least give 10,000 per story mode game. Now they remove ad from which I used to make millions of credit. I was able collect atleast 5 million credit three times. BTW graphics of ALU are superb and my device can't handle it. Maybe game loft should give free stuff and at 50,000 credit in special event. I am free fire old player. Free fire did same thing in past that game loft is doing. After that ff down started. Now they are free stuff too. I hope gameloft understand

I play with a Galaxy Zfold 5 and use Gamesir X2 Pro controller, 60 FPS with graphics set to performance. This game runs amazingly for me. As a true Asphalt 9 fan, this is only the start of something amazing. They JUST dropped it and everyone seems to be expecting perfect results already. I'm already hooked on this. The only con I've noticed so far is how unranked MP only lets you use specific cars. We've grinded for months on certain cars to be top tier in a certain class and now they are blending classes and reduced the amount of cars you can use in each League. It's something I CAN get used to though. The fact they have a MP mode where you can use any car you want in your garage is pretty epic though. Sadly ive been up against a lot of Bugatti Chirons 😂😂😂

I've tried it on Mac and it seems they removed a bit of motion blur and bloom in Shanghai, but the reflections, even if less present than they were in 9, look better and now there is a new effect that looks so cool and it's like a reflection caused by the car's lights that is applied on metallic surfaces. I'm kinda glad that the Switch is taking more time, so I can play both 9 and Unite in the meantime + they said Switch users are gonna get free stuff as an award for waiting!

Thanks, this is interesting! We still have not got it on Switch so we haven’t been able to look closer into the changes. One thing is quite obvious - looking at it through my photographer’s eye the light in Unite is very flat/cold and not as warm as in A9. And the black in Unite is ’too’ black so it becomes mushy, in A9 you can see the details and contours much better. Despite the higher details in Unite I prefer the warmer A9 light. Requirements increased so if your device could run A9 at medium graphics, for example, now can only run Unite at low or very low graphics...and those graphics are quite ugly, honestly. That's what happens when graphics improvements take place and, while it's certainly frustrating... it's understandable up to a point

This new upgrade works beautifully on iOS. My iphone 13 Pro plays this with ease, I prefer the new cartoonish graphics, but there is a flaw where if you try to change your graphics settings the game will not load.

Amidst all the disappointed reviews. I think the Interface is much better, the old one was getting real boring. the new theme is perfect for me, though the game is lagging a lot. So If they optimize it better I'm all for it. and plzz bring the old starways back as well, I was just about to max out my lambo and onyx from 1-6 star directly. Plzz bring back the starway.

I took the time to read the comments and, being very invested in the game and I would say very talented but does not show his level on the networks, I am also affected by these changes, I stopped playing on Android phone because the quality was, excuse me but, mediocre, it hurts the eyes and the heart that the graphics are lowered like that. Certainly there have been improvements like the headlights etc, but if the graphics do not go with it then it is quite problematic. I had a good progression on phone but I am not going to buy another one for a game. I also play it on PS5, I have no complaints because the graphics are significantly improved, but if it was those of Asphalt 9 (ohh this name so sweet..🥺) my eyes would be more dazzled 😍 (also on phone) but no need to necessarily make THE Asphalt 9, but just to have at least the graphics as realistic as Asphalt 9 and also the headlights, because I find that the headlights with the light strips on each side are much less realistic, since it can only be seen on camera, but we are trying to play with our eyes and not a camera, so finding the original sentences would be great, and also for the graphics, I don't ask for more, but not a quality below Asphalt 9 pleaseeee

I use an S23 Ultra and the Galaxy TabS9 to play this and being honest it looks better for me and I haven't really had any issues with lag/ping so far so I'm not sure how so many are having issues, very confusing for me but I do hope it gets better for everyone.

Asphalt legends unite is on another level in terms of graphics, the sharpness of shadows, reflections, and the realistic look of the new graphic engine, it looks and feels like a copy of Forza Horizon in terms of graphics. But unfortunately, you must have a PlayStation or a powerful computer to play it in full quality and full resolution, The most powerful current device (S24 Ultra) does not look like it does on PC devices 😕

Unfortunately for all but on high settings with a nice rig Alu takes the cake with better lighting and reflections. I even thought the thumbnail was fake due to most if not everyone’s complaints on graphics. Note: Car models look similar but reflect more lighting and have more of the ray tracing feel despite not being ray traced

they were hyping up the "graphics update", except they only worked on the pc/windows graphics and not android from what i hear. Even through i have a windows pc with 8 gigs of ram with almost no other apps, i was able to run A9 perfectly on the highest resolution and highest graphics, but now in order for it to barely even run, i have to turn graphics on 'super low' i have to decrease my resolution by almost 35%, it works, but to have the game run smoothly under these outrageous adjustments, it looks like total shit due to the low graphics and and lack of screen resolution making it almost impossible to tell the difference between my Izuku Midoriya body pillow and my (in game) Porsche 911 because of how damn fuzzy the screen is. all we can do is wait for the next update util they fix these problems
