Way to go Car: Glad to see your on top of it all. Yes, Fall is here and you want to get all your pets indoors, as you said, your Box Turtles are a little small to leave outdoors, you want to give them a chance to survive. I think the set-up you have for them looks Sufficient and comfortable. The addition of a few plants or another hiding place will add to it. so, two things first of all when keeping box turtles they require extremely high humidity, I recommend keeping them on either straight sphagnum moss, or just in water. Secondly for the first year box turtles won't bask, they also do not require uvb for the same reason. i only say this because box turtles can di very quickly when that young and i want yours to survive.

I rescued a hatchling baby box turtle from being mowed by the landlords zero turn. She has a set-up in the house for now, she seems quite happy and is thriving nicely. The problem I have is that although I have bought her some different commercial foods, she turns her nose up at everything except live garden worms and live Meal worms. I've also tried chopped up strawberries, carrots and some other fruit and veg. How can I vary her diet if she won't eat anything else? I intend to release her back near where she was found when she is big enough to not be prey for everything that sees her, but for now I just want her to be safe and healthy.

I would keep all the plecos, in the 75 gallon with the American Cichlids. Because plecos can get crazy big too. If they get along with the Cichlids.
