I'm old enough to have tried to drive an Opel GT when it arrived, and I hoped for a Lotus Europa, which originally was intended as a Racecar for I think Le Mans, with a huge Engine in the back.

スーパーカーブームの時、小学生だった俺はマセラティメラクを見て、 『パッとしないクルマ』って思っていた。 やっぱ花形はフェラーリ512Bや、カウンタックLP500Sだった訳で、マセラティメラク・ボーラは華がないって思ってた。 数年前、ユーザー車検を受けに行った陸運局で、初めてマセラティメラクを目の前にした。 鼻血が出るほどセクシーでカッコ良かった‼️😍 タイムマシンで小学生の自分に会いに行き、マセラティメラクに華がないなどと思っていた自分をブン殴ってやりたいと思った。

Herrlich, einfach wunderschön, die Diversen Autos aus vergangenen Epochen zu sehen. Man kann die Abgase förmlich riechen. Das sind noch Autos, die haben Kanten und Formen und vorallem eine Seele. Nicht wie diese Potthässlichen Plastikschüsseln auf Rädern von heute. Das war noch Automobilbaukunst von damals. Pantera De Tomaso, Mercedes SL 300, BMW 2002, Renault Alpine usw...

Hi 👋 I'm viewing from New Zealand. Lots of classic cars on the move there. The standout for me is the red 1970s Alfa Romeo Montreal . A very rare car now. I'm in my sixties in age , and it's funny to see cars from the 1970s being classed as old timers.

For me as well. i was born in 81 in eastgermany and we settled to the west in 84 already. as a kid i was travelling a lot through germany and europe with my family. with us were often friends travelling- all in old cars. it was after a car meeting in france when we drove through the surrounding of paris, searching for a place to stay. on a petrolstation came a guy along which drove an alfa spider osso di sepia . he invited us to come to his place and stay for some days . he was a car mechanic and called himself specialiste alfa romeo. as we came on his ground it was a place of old italian cars parked in a parklike forrest - every car was looking like abandoned. it was next to an old catle and we saw the bats flying through the night. here and there the moon showed us an old lancia or even a ferrari. the next morning i was climbing with my brother through the whole garden. it was awesome. he showed us the projects he was already working on and the alfa montreal that he just finished. when he started the engine in that garage- the tail to the wall and stepping onto it.. iwas flying away. the sound was the best i ever heard. that lightmetalblock with the straight pipe was roaring like godzilla. i will never forget this part of my childhood.
