@dravennoire it must be string noise it's a weird grinding sound that fades out side to side maybe your sliding your hand when you palm mute, when I play sad but true I like to slide into the palm mute

they're the best! I think he only has two sizes 1 for 6strings and 1 for 7and8s , mine is a bit big since i got it for a 7 string
