Luke is the definition of if you truly love something you will do anything to achieve it! 🔥

I love the fact that you keep driving (or atleast trying to) the speed limit at all times. It shows that cars can be enjoyed even within the laws (which I know are quite strict in Switzerland), and is a great example to everyone. Of course everyone wants to drive quickly from time to time, but I enjoy my cars the most when I am just cruising, not rushing, taking all the noises and vibrations in. Thank you for splendid content.

Come to Portugal. Epic roads (including mountains), perfect roads, 98 almost everywhere, no cops, few cameras and no traffic! Best country in the world
@RCSnowboard76 ай бұрын
@@MichaelChobanian I am portuguese and I beg to disagree. It really depends where you are. Roads near the beach are cool but sandy because of the wind. Roads where I live are a joke filled with potholes and not even leveled. I wouldnt dare go to my street with my car from here. I would have to go do a big lap just to avoid scratching it everytime.

@@carswithluke first advice. tow it to Portugal .. the noise is nice for 400km. after that it becomes a pain. but if you plan to do a road trip and stop a lot along the way, during several days, then maybe it is ok. second, it really depends on what you re looking for ( scenery wise). at the end of the year, the weather is not so nice and I fear you ll miss white a bit. you don't have to worry about snow as much as you have to worry about icy roads that stay icy for several days ( although, due to climate change or wtv, it happens more in January through April). and rain.... if it rains a tad much, the sewage gets clogged and you have aquaplanning everywhere, even in highway.... putting all of this aside.. roads... I d do all West Coast ( start maybe in figueira da Foz And end up in peniche, without forgetting Baleal. it s a must. and if you stop in Nazaré, you ll get to see the big surfer waves that go through actober till February. Just beware that the roads are not so nice near the lighthouse. I wasn't there this year but maybe they paved the road properly this time). if you re looking for twisties, you have a lot of mountains : gerês, serra da estrela, portal do inferno ( the road is OK but not great. good for scenery ), serra do caramulo... if you re looking to go by a river bed, you can't miss rio côa and the infamous Douro. if you re looking for just typical kantonalstrasse with views near by, you can do north to south and /or wear to east. there are a lot of known roadtrips. Just beware that it s pretty much all straight going 90kmh maximum . if you got any more questions, hit me up

i just watched the S/T video 45 minutes ago. came to this video felt it was 11 in the night back then. i needed to go out to get a soda. i went and i bought it. on my way back i am driving a two wheeler. cayman 718 with the top down approaching me, and fast. i flash a MASSIVE THUMBS UP to the guy. i u turn i go back. he happened to be going inside a building and i got close to him and said "brother can i look at it for two minutes?" and he nods and stops before going into the building. i park and i stare inside his car with a smile on my face for a solid 10 seconds but then i start feeling awkward since i felt like i was keeping him there. i let him leave and i regret not asking for a passenger seat ride. non macan and cayenne porsches are a very rare sight in india so in that context this might make deeper sense. happy new year luke. drive a few more batshit crazy cars for all of us out here. i love you

Do swiss folks throw out the OPF on the newer cars? Otherwise this might be the wisest 911 model to stick with. 992 gt3 is less special and the current and coming RS models are becoming too sophisticated to justify the upgrade for someone that doesn't track them. Drs system and all the adjustable stuff can lead to costly repairs in the future
@carswithluke6 ай бұрын
Nope all new cars have opf and is stupidly illegal to remove. Luckily my 991.2 was an early one without any opf as you can hear 😍

There is the MFK (kind of like the TUV ), 1st inspection 5 years after the first registration, 2nd inspection 3 years after the 1st and then every 2 years. I’m pretty sure many people change the exhaust and go back to stock for inspection, many newer models with modified exhausts.

I like Luke as a Car Enthousiast. No Rowdy and pure Joy, well done. I do not see the 991 RS generally as peak RS and as well not as a Keeper as too many units are built and a good number of them are not treated well. I think the size of it and running cost are both additional factors prices are comming down.
