The greatest exibition of short track passing in the history of 1 mile ovals. Screwed up in the pits later on that cost him the race, but what a driver. Anticipatory skills par excellence.

CART from Mansell to Montoya was some of the best open wheel racing ever. Michael Andretti never won as much as he probably should have, but he was the best combination speedway/road-street course in the game. Montoya was dominant like Zanardi because of Mo Nunn.

CART unlike the IRL today did not have mandated wing angles, so teams ran them as little as they could.
