Could this be the Bottom of a Huge above ground Quarried Site. As if there used to be a lot of Rock above these tracks, that was used for building.
Those ruts are a big mystery, since all explanations are rather lame and inadequate. I showed some ruts in the Azores recently. The cart ruts were a wider mystery than i originally thought. A great look ....thanks.

Can you share what you showed on the Azores ? I’m glad you mentioned because I was on Terceira island last year 2018 for 6 weeks and for 3 wks in 2017 my wife is Portuguese from Terciera island and I finally found a couple different spots that have beautiful examples of cart ruts and heard of more in other areas but wasn’t able to locate them I did find some closer to Fontinhas and more not far off the highway that runs between Angra and Praia da Vitória in the mountains there are more in the lava field at Caldeira in Lajas (I couldn’t locate) and a local from the village of Feteira said that there were more cart ruts under the road in the village of Porto Judeu and of course I’ve seen more on tv and have heard that all the islands of the Azores have them and recent studies finally have convinced a couple archeologist of the university of the Azores that they were indeed there prior to Portuguese occupation but until recently the português laid claim to them saying they were from early settlers getting timber from different areas there is so much more megalithic structures as well that I’ve learned about but yet to see them with my own eyes.
In the western United States there are places where the metal-tired wheels of Conestoga wagons on the Oregon Trail left ruts like this, up to 5 ft (1.5 m) deep in some places. 1,000 to 2,000 wagons per year used the trail for about 40 years.

Alot of dormant volcanoes around, maybe ash mixed with the substrate the karts went through and hardened. Like Roman concrete. Just throwing things out there.

I agree, it looks like cart ruts that were formed in soft limestone or sediment, and then hardened over time.

They do look similar to what I saw in the Azores and yes I’ve heard different theories like water carving them but from what I saw there’s very little chance the ruts crisscrossed at certain locations it’s almost like the cart ruts were made when the rock was in a softer state if you will.
@capt22785 жыл бұрын
they are odd... but where's the erosion due to the animal pulling the carts? Or is it being suggested that no animals were involved and these were propelled by the cart wheels?

My two cents... I see a large mud flow caused by a flood. I see thousands of people fleeing the rising water... I see the water has lowered and then a nova.
@jgalloway24075 жыл бұрын
Is it not limestone? If it is then it was deposited on the seabed and so was never 'soft' when above ground. Also, the deeper rut is the more recent - it has cut through the earlier one.

Did you see the cart ruts on the south coast of Malta, near Dingli, where the ruts just go off the cliff and vanish?
@tikiviracocha2795 жыл бұрын
The best comparison that can be made nowadays with these 'Cart Ruts' are imprints left in mud by the passage of vehicle. Except that these 'ruts' (which exist everywhere in the world) are in rocky surfaces. The best (though incomplete) explanation for these mud-like remains (or modeling clay), which would have been 'petrified', is once again provided by the sacred texts, more precisely by the Traditional cosmogony, which relates the creation of the world from a more ethereal state to dense matter, a process of 'solidification of the world' to use René Guénon's terms. I created an article on Facebook (in French) about this chapter developed by this author because it can't be found on the internet. This chapter is taken from the book 'The Reign of Quantity and the Signs of the Times.' Chapter XVII, Solidification of the World. You can read it here: facebook.com/notes/gregory-tiki-viracocha/solidification-du-monde-ren%C3%A9-gu%C3%A9non/2063376170352742/?fref=mentions

would like to know, stratigraphically, which way up are the rock beddings? I assume they are laid flat horizontally, not tilted 90 degrees? There is a lot of erosion on top of the tracks, but how deep are they at most - an axle would need to pass over some quite high points (that may be why the deviations - they had worn down too deep for the axles?

Are the tracks made in an even width? Certainly seems made by a vehicle of some kind.
@ericpilkington62985 жыл бұрын
They are often the same width, but according to Koltypin soft changes in width is caused by the softened ground was sliding after the tracks were made. Hard changes is explained by ancient earthquake, cracks etc when the rock were hard. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6HSg5-ljqmtpdE

@@ericpilkington6298 Definitely compelling. I firmly believe that civilization has reset multiple times over the eons. History is definitely NOT what we have been told. It would be intriguing to dig deep....deep into the earth to see what we can uncover. Artifacts found hundreds of feet beneath the ground suggest that the previous civilizations were technically advanced. Perhaps we will never know. Fascinating nonetheless.

But the draft animals pulling the carts didn't leave a worn-down and noticeably smoother area between the "ruts"?
@gitmoholliday57645 жыл бұрын
imagine they were used for ropes.. on top of the ruts a large object / rock ..how could you fit a rope under that rock ? if you have a rut like that you could easily pull a rope under it and the rope wouldn't be damaged or crushed. why would you fit a rope around a large object or rock .. Maybe for transport or even lift the rock in a sort of A frame.. and use it as a giant swing hammer to work on other rocks. that way gravity and the weight of the swing would make it relative easy for a couple of workers to grind or break other rocks.

I saw these and walked along them up a canyon that I'm told was not a canyon to begin with, the canyon was carved by the consistent use of some wheeled or railed thing. This was in Pitigliano, Italy.

There are cart ruts like this in the Island of Terceira, Azores (Atlantis). They are called - relheiras. And also in Peru and other places.
@z-mackdos6echo3113 жыл бұрын
My guess is that what ever the device used to transport the item being moved, that the location where there are many tracks is the main loading area. The area where the tracks splits is to allow for the flow of traffic to move freely. One side is for the empty conveyance returning to retrieve another load, and the other side is the conveyance with a full load to transport to another site. The problem that I feel keeps getting in the way of figuring these mysteries of the archeological and megalithic sites is the mind set that modern man is using to to determine what and when things occurred at any given location. You can’t think with the information we know from our current world, but from a world with a different technology, and when the ground these structures are constructed on was totally different along with the weather conditions and environment. Determine what those were like then figure out what these amazing remnants of life prior to the great flood. Why does the time line have to be rewritten! If we don’t know when things happen. Why would any one attach a date to it? They didn’t have empirical evidence, because they didn’t have the technology to make that determination in the first place. So to say when the pyramids were built, or Stonehenge was erected with any certainty without empirical proof No Final answer should have ever been given. It should be stated that at this time we could only estimate when it was erected. The area where the tracks lay the substance would have been in a different state of malleability, but over time and changing weather and environmental conditions altered its physical characteristics, which could have given a more conclusive idea as to what actually made the tracks.

These totally amaze me because the time and process it took to become fossilized cart ruts. Think about it. How long did it take to make fossilized dinosaur foot prints? People may think I’m crazy, but I think like the Russian guy mentioned. These very well could be extremely old.
