When I got out of the Army in 1993 and was wandering around the lower eastern coastal states, I ran into a guy from South Africa named Charl (pronounced sharl) on Daytona Beach during Biker Week. @@fistzx I think what he means is that Cuban Spanish is quite different than Mexican. It is very fast and often loud. Mexican Spanish is smoother and more melodic. I speak a lot of Spanish and love the language. As I get better at it, it really opens doors. I have lived in Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, and recently spent a month in Spain. Wonderful experiences.

The Cuban accent changes quite a bit in the eastern provinces . The accent is so rough and choppy in Havana or Matanzas but in Holguin or Las Tunas they have such a nice rhythm to their accent .

Awesome! I've done that tour twice in Cartagena, Punta Arena, and where they have the trained dolphins and nurse sharks. Last time in 2013 I went with my new wife and she was a total dud, she was so unfun, and we divorced 6 weeks later. Those boats race each other back to Cartagena. One time back in 1992-3, I was riding a jet ski in the laguna, and a narco submarine surfaced right next to me near boca grande, and the captain opened the hatch and waved at me. I almost shit my shorts on the jet ski. They had obviously just come back from Miami delivery, and the bosses were on the beach in a Mercedez, drinking Jack Daniels, each from the bottle, toes on the sand, listening to rap music, and waiting for the cash, and armed guards armed to the teeth in a jeep in the parking lot. So, we left and went back to the hotel.

sorry but wrong. Condors are huge birds that live high on the Andes across south america, they don't go to the beach as far as I know, plus they are way bigger than those. (I believe they are called south american black vulture)
