OMG I cannot believe how patient this beautiful baby boy was!! He literally had to wait over 3 minutes in his high chair to be fed! The fact that he is not screaming bloody murder speaks volumes about the baby's character! I never put my children in the high chair until their food was ready. Not one of my children would have behaved this calmly! What a good baby! God bless him!! The cereal is way too runny so he's basically just drinking it off the spoon. It's easier to teach them how to swallow off of a spoon if it's a little thicker but to each his own. My pediatrician told me that it should be the consistency of applesauce. I love the fact that dad is helping too! Great job dad!

It was a bit watered down, but he's just trying something different after months of drinking his meals. Starting off slow and gradually making it thicker to see how he tolerates it is actually a great idea. Of course if it had been thicker, people would crab about that too. Precious boy is now 8yo. 🖤

Why all the negative comments ? Too thin - too thick - not prepared etc ... What about how precious this child is and it’s cute little mouth reaching for the food. The baby is not fussing or crying and is real interested in his parents paying him positive attention. These people did not ask for your take on feeding their child. They didn’t ask for mine either. It will make them all smile for years to come. It made me smile.

Just love watching these baby feeding videos!, i remember it well!, i am a baby crazy person still, and i am 64, and have grandkids, and totally blind and know how to make the cereal, formula, and I even used to change cloth diapers!. I learned how to change the cloth diapers when I was seven years old, because I had little nieces and nephews even back then!. I would still be happy to be able to help take care of a baby even at 64!. I think your baby is so cute!.

Notice how much better he did once you thickened up the cereal a little bit! It should actually even be a little bit thicker next time. If unsure it's always good to check with your pediatrician. My pediatrician always told me that their first cereal should have the consistency of applesauce.

Im happy there was nothing like You Tube when my kids were babies, no teasing, no feeding green or orange gunge to make them sick or gag, no cackling laughter from parents when their babies were obviously hating the crap they were being force fed for the camera. Just ordinary parents and babies enjoying life with no cameras running their lives. I’m a grandmother now and can look back and know we never pushed our kids into misery I see now just to put a video on You Tube.
