The ref told Rocco consistently to work to the circle, to circle in, to stay away from the edge. Rocco didn’t listen. He gave him time to adjust, Rocco didn’t. Warranted stall calls.

@dannymurphy3907 when Penn State has 6 guys in the finals, yeah, things are gonna look skewed their way cause you see their singlet every ten seconds. Rocco continually backed up, disengaged, and stayed by the edge. The ref told him to work circle before he even hit him with the first stall call. He was given a pre-warning warning. Not everyone gets that. You gotta adjust. Rocco kicked it into high gear too late.

I'm a gopher fan and I love Cael, but that ref Angel consistently tilts PSU. Watch his body of work. Extremely quick on Rocco in the first for sure. He didn't leave the mat either time and you have to allow a guy to sprawl away on a shot. Otherwise everyone might as well shoot on the edge - the other guy has to let you in or take a stall. It's one thing to back off and another thing to sprawl. Maybe it wouldn't have changed the outcome, but then ref waits until late in the 3rd to hit up Carter when he was clearly disengaging most of the 3rd. Let's Carter finish by backing straight up in the last 10 seconds and doesn't at least give Rocco his 1. Wouldn't wanna upset his hero Cael. Look at him smiling ear to ear as he raises Carter's hand. Not a good look for someone who's supposed to be impartial.

@@tannercroft5024 Stalling doesn't only happen when you leave the mat. Bro didn't do anything for the whole match, of course he deserved those stalling calls. Honestly I think he didn't do anything cause he didn't think he could win.

Honestly, I wish Carter would've been named co-Most Outstanding Wrestler, just cuz of his toughness. Also, the fact that Carter said "No comment" when asked it was a torn ACL, pretty much confirms that it was, otherwise, why not just tell us no?

Cause he is going to Olympic trials. Why tell people what is wrong with you, including the guy on the broadcast. Not that it matters what the actual injury is. Burroughs even said on the broadcast if he wrestled him in the trial’s he will go after his right leg.

I am curious about what % of Starocci's capability or level he was at. Now figure the studs he wrestled and beat. F all that stall crap. Its part of the game. He wrestled as hard as he had too, or could to win another NCAA cship. And he did. I am from Pa and have watched him wrestle for 4 years. He was far from, and I mean far from his best. Congratz CS.
