I love that your in laws are so practical and forward thinking to get your the cartier bracelets. I asked my MIL if I can pick put my jewerly. She said no. I ended up getting a set of the Dragon and Phoenix Bangle Necklace and Bangle bracelet. I haven't worn those since my wedding. 😂🤣

I might prefer the smaller one too, because my arm is not so small (i've an 18) and it seems to me like the bigger bracelet makes my wrist look even bigger, whereas thinner bracelet suit me more. I'm about to buy this when I sell my grandmother's house to have a token of her after I won't have the house anymore, so I prefer to have something that I can manage by myself as well, no need for the husband I don't have to help me put it on and take it off, lol (beautiful stack BTW, and I'm kind of curious to see your traditional bracelet too!)

I would love to invest in cartier bracelets but getting scratches on them will bother me too much. This is a great review as i too have baby tiny wrist

Yeah the scratches are unavoidable unfortunately. It really bothered me at first but after I got the first major scratch the rest didn’t really matter.

You can also have the scratches polished out. And these bracelets come in different sizes. I’m sure you can find one you “love”!!

I would buy it again but in the version with the diamonds which unfortunately wasn’t released yet when I got mine. I’m not sure what you mean by spring. There’s no spring in the bracelet.

I’m still not sure what you mean by a spring. The inside of the small JUC is hollow which is why you can just twist it onto your wrist. I haven’t had it catch onto my clothes and it was comfortable to wear 24/7 when I used to wear it all the time.

Thanks Carol for the awesome review! May i know what is ur wrist circumference? I have a very tiny wrist (13cm) and not sure if the smallest size of the love bracelet will still be too huge for me

My wrist size is 14.5 cm and I wear the 16 cm size in the love bracelet. It may be a bit loose on you even if you get the smallest size which is 15 cm because I think I’m actually between sizes (a 15.5 if they were to make that). So the 15 cm would be a whole cm larger than your perfect size which seems like a bit much. But if you’re okay with it being a looser bangle i think it still looks very nice like that.

I’m not quite sure unfortunately. If it helps, my wrist circumference is 14.5 cm and Cartier recommends going a size up from your wrist size for the Love bracelet.

Great review!!! I wanted to ask, when you lock your bracelet, do you see it being completely tightened? Does it make any sound when you hold it each halves with your finger and squeeze in the bracelet and hear some sound? When I lock mine, I still hear some loosening sound like the bracelet isn’t completely locked tight. I did try to see if bracelet opens if I try to pull harder, it stayed locked which is good but that loose sound bothers me and wondering if yours does the same and it’s normal or it’s just that I happened to get defected one. I ordered it online coz I have no boutique nearby☹️ Please let me know. TIA~~

I have the small version so the locking mechanism is different to yours. From what you’re saying it doesn’t sound quite right. Maybe try to arrange an exchange?

Oh okay I misunderstood reading your comment the first time. Mine doesn’t make any noises after I lock it. I suspect something on your bracelet might not be perfectly aligned.

@@virginialinares470 hi there! I spoke to my SA, and she mentioned possibly in the long run it can be a concern but totally normal for that type of closure and that’s why that noise happens. As long as it stays locked you are fine no need to worry. I checked with my other girlfriends too, it does make sound for them as well. You can consult with your SA too and see what can they do abt it if you feel unsure. I didn’t bother to exchange since it is still very secure for me and if at any point, it gives issues, I’d expect Cartier to assist. Hope this info helps~ Good luck!!

I’ve never had that issue with mine. I just lock it once when I put it on and it stays in place until I want to take the bracelet off.

I use an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. You can purchase it here: bit.ly/32uQyKV I put it in the jewelry cleaner with a few drops of soap and let it run for a few minutes and then rinse it under water at the end.

They definitely can. I would say the regular sized one is probably better suited for men because it’s a bit thicker in width.

Yeah! I Agree with Carol, I have the Juste un Clou and Love in the regular size, it makes more sense for men to wear the regular sized ones because they generally have wider wrists.
