Cartman mp400 spray gun review

I used the Cartman mp 400 today. It did a great job. I actually like it better than my Tekna 1.3

Yes it's a Great Gun, I just got another one today also, but mine started leaking from the tip, I took of the front cap and you will see 2 light green plastic things anyways mine got worn out and is leaking from that , So got a replacement today from Amazon, I'm going to get the same gun but the H-899 model that gun doesn't have those plastic things.

I spray paint every day, all different guns. I can't say I ever get orange peel. I would actually be pissed if I did. Orange peel is usually an air pressure setting problem. Your compressor may not be able to push the higher air requirements of your other guns. On another note I did take the recommendation and bought the Cartman mp 400. Just opened the box. Tomorrow I will give it a test run. It does feel like a quality built piece. Thank you!

While the aeropro R500 is a really good gun it does leave orange peel which in the end you will have to do some color sanding/ wet sanding to get the orange peel out. With the Cartman gun it leaves no orange peel and you don't have to color sand / wet sand, save a step and money. Every painter is looking for that gun that leaves absolutely zero orange peel.

I beg to differ here, every professional painter will attempt to replicate the OEM paint finish, whether it is collision or smart repairs. Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, Ferarri or Lamborghini are the only manufacturers whose factory finish is flat. The Asian vehicles have the worst finishes....i.e. Mazda, Nissan etc. I have Sata's and they can produce the finish that you need to. Bye the way, that gun is a direct replica of the Iwata W400 Classic. At the end of the day, it's horses for Courses, whatever works well in your hands, it's the person behind the gun, not the gun which makes the finished product.
