You're not really making any point. For argument's sake, let's accept the premise that he felt threatened. Attacking is a perfectly normal reaction when feeling threatened. It's one of the three stress-responses shared by all living beings: Flight, fight or freeze.

This channel has made me think about just wearing a hidden camera everywhere i go. Half the fear of living in this society isn't physical safety. Reputation and emotional well-being are the most common things being attacked either at work or in personal relationships, and if you're like me, weak and cursed with crippling social anxiety or other mental illnesses that make interacting with people difficult.. you pretty much have no chance if someone like this wants to ruin your life.
