This bowl has cartoon characters cast in the walls. It was a long complicated project.. I hope you enjoy it.

Beautiful job Larry! I have to use a circle cutting jig on my bandsaw to get anywhere near a good circle cut.

Thats great to hear, I even managed to make 3 pens and 2 seam rippers on the lathe this morning, paying for it now, but it was fun while it lasted. Acks pastes over that CA glue finish works great!!

@@ACKSWOODPASTE Man, I know all about that pay for it later. I've started working on the waste epoxy bowl. It's where I pour my leftover epoxy until I get a full container, then I make something out of it. I really want to make an enormous goblet, but it is a little short for that. So, I am adding a maple top and bottom to it. That will add 3 inches. Should be fun, but as you know, it will cost me tomorrow. My hip is completely well but I am still having trouble with my lower back. It seems to get a little better each day. We old fold really enjoy the golden age, don't we? LOL

I KNOW HOW IT IS i FIGHT THE PAIN EVERY DAY FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS THATS CROnIC pain .i would like to turn more nut just aint frlt like it. plus my vision is off the chart 400- i have rp ,it only goes south . i might next run some videos of the things i have done not turning my turning is not normal at all i can npt see the ends of the tools i have to feel and feel to locate what i want to use .so the you go buddy later

I think I meant slurry. I mix sanding dust from the dust collector bag with sanding sealer to make a paste, rub it into the wood, let it dry overnight, sand it down to at least 400. See ya, Larry
