I think it's just the opposite- He includes the robot arm in the first place, and it's on the right arm. My guess is that he phrased it the way he did so that he wouldn't spoil people who AREN'T caught up on Adventure time. People aren't necessarily going to interpret "in the future" as "during the show's run", after all. I think he decided not to draw attention to Peridot in the Steven Universe drawing for similar reasons.

Funnily Enough, Finn already has a robotic arm in the last season of Adventure Time. I really did like the first drawing with Dexter, Ego Trip's version had the whole cycle of him going from a wimpy slave teen to mandark into a full blown action-hero that screamed the 90s full force. Considering that that was from a bad future, this one makes me imagine this is the good future (in a sense) without Mandark's global conquest. I also liked the TTG one too, maybe its because the style feels really expressive and laid back, it just captures what the show is all about. Anyway, do more 10 years later vids. I just love em.

I have an idea for the next one: How about, what animal-centered shows might look like from the perspective of the HUMANS in them? We usually see from the animal's point of view, but perhaps things aren't as they seem! Eek! the Cat, Tom and Jerry, Garfield and Friends, CatDog, Cow and Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog, etc. They all have talking animals AND people interacting, but we have no idea what's REALLY going on. Maybe it's mundane, maybe it's nightmare-ish. Only Butch can tell.
