Agree. Cartoon network hasn't been the same when 2010 started. I'm just here listening Walk with me by Joe Budden from Def Jam Fight for NY while I'm reminiscing about how much I miss Cartoon network in the 2000s. I still watch and think about them. But when major changes happened, it was time for me to say goodbyes to any cartoon programs. Like PBS Kids, Nickelodeon, Disney and Cartoon network. It didn't felt the same. I wish I could go back to my elementary and middle school years in my 2000s days.

Schaffrillas, Cell Spex and other cartoon enthusiasts believe that 2009 was the year animated movies peaked. While I can see the argument, I also believe that it was also the year movies based on kids shows peaked! So many of my favorite shows got their own movies and these movies all released on the same year: this movie, Hannah Montana The Movie, Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie, Totally Spies The Movie, Ben 10 Alien Swarm, The Fairly OddParents: Wishology Trilogy and Scooby Doo The Mystery Begins. There were at least a few that just so happened to also release that year that weren't that good or good at all: Scooby Doo and the Samurai Sword where the only memorable part about it was that it was the last DTV Scooby movie to use the “What’s New” aesthetic and Casey Kasem voicing Shaggy, Land of the Lost, which I never would’ve known was based on a kids show because it’s the only one of out of all these shows that I never grew up watching, 70s nor 90s and it was a raunchy comedy for a PG-13 movie and SpongeBob's Truth or Square which I wouldn't even call a movie as it was wasting so much time stretching the runtime. We could've even gotten a Chowder movie releasing either in 2009 or 2010 with Matthew McConaughey considered to play I think the villain but it was cancelled in the middle of production because C.H. Greenblatt didn’t like the final product. But the fond memories outweigh the bad. There are a variety of reasons why it was the best year for kids show based movies. 1. I can't find any other year that had the MOST movies based on kids shows. 2. Two of them released exclusively in theaters. Three if you count Totally Spies The Movie releasing in theaters in their own home country. 3. Some of them were made to celebrate the anniversary of their respective shows. 4. Many of them elevated the popularity and/or potential of their respective shows. The Mystery Begins and Alien Swarm were especially in the top 3 of Cartoon Network’s most watched premieres! It was one of the best times to be a fan of kids shows as I was a kid at the time!
