I just want to take a moment to raise some awareness. I’m from Pa and the majority of my neighbors were Amish from Lancaster. Yeah the Golden Retrievers are adorable, but I would bet like my neighbors once did, that they are running a puppy mill. Amish are some of the biggest offenders of this practice. Please don’t buy from them. In my area people stopped buying them and almost all Amish puppy mills there shut down bc they had no one to sell to.

The Amish baked goods that we had in the Reading Terminal Plaza in Philadelphia were off the charts. The monster sized cinnamon rolls were legendary. I guess the chocolates chip cookies are only so-so.

Intercourse, PA should definitely be on your to-do list when you're back in town. Super fun tourist trap in Amish country with great shops and food! And of course they have "I Love Intercourse" merch

Between the Hotel and the tour of the Amish the middle of nowhere it really is not nowhere now. An it is a eye opener for some who haven’t seen a horse go. That was my lol moment right there.

I’m from “Pennsyltucky” and many don’t wear masks in that area, bc they think it’s tramping on their rights. And my Amish neighbors didn’t shut down, quarantine, or wear mask. We definitely have been avoiding the Amish store the past year.
