thinking about doing more of these "In (insert year here)..." videos for other channels like Nickelodeon, Toon Disney etc. what do you think? Thanks for watching and i appreciate the continued support

I'd be down for that. Especially with Nick since as much as I love Nick Knacks, it'll definitely take a while before Greg gets to the late 90s and early 2000s (which is where a lot of my formative memories with the channel properly begin)

City Era was the best era for me. The feeling of having all the Cartoon Network characters being present in the same universe for me was amazing as a kid, Their soundtracks were outstanding and very nostalgic. City Era was the most cartoon network thing ever.

My friends and I had a theory back in the day that the female announcer, Nikki, would eventually star in a show centered around CN City where she'd interact with various characters in the same vein as others do in the bumpers. The reasoning behind this was that at the end credits of almost every show, we'd hear her say a monologue that eventually carries us into the next show. These monologues involve her experiences at CN city while meeting these characters. We were anxiously waiting for this theoretical show, until the bumpers themselves were discontinued. We were sad and heartbroken. It would've been nice to see a show centered around the city.

I am with you on The Life and Times of Juniper Lee. I remembered watching this show when I was a kid and I was sad that it was cancelled after its third season. I wished that this show would make a comeback soon with a few more seasons and to end the series on a high note.

Bro I gotta give you the utmost thanks for these classic CN videos! This era doesn't get documented or talked about nearly enough. 05 was all the way live. Summer was too fun that year and the joy of watching CN back then helped me with some of the wildness going on in my life. Good stuff!

3:30 I guess you can say it’s the Rocko’s modern life but for Cartoon Network but instead of a town it’s at a camp. Since if I can remember correctly, Rocko’s modern life was a Nickelodeon show when it was airing new episodes where as with Camp Lazlo it was a Cartoon Network show when it was airing new episodes which makes it interesting since in the final episode of Camp Lazlo the elephant from Rocko’s Modern Life makes a cameo but him being an adult.

There should be a Kingdom Hearts game (or some fresh new franchise by Square Enix) but with Cartoon Network characters. Imagine an anime protagonist fighting along Dexter, Powerpuff Girls, etc.
@toxicperson89363 жыл бұрын
Powerpuff Girls, Dexters Laboratory, Fosters home, Cow & Chicken, & most of all, Ed Edd & Eddy, were the best the network has ever done. They won’t ever do better than that.

2003-2007 is really peak CN especially 2005 and the City Era. And before ya know CN Real lol. I also really miss the idents and bumpers where CN characters would interact with each other. I think the last time we had that was CN’s 20th anniversary back in 2012. Powerhouse Era with CN Fridays (before the City Era) also had this

See, I don't know, I really enjoyed the city era, so I feel like we could push the "memorable" meter to 2007, when the City look ended, although for me, maybe up to 2010 at the max, when the classic shows stopped airing, but overall, the channel did peak around 2006-07, and it just made a very slow descent over the next few years.

I would know 2005 was not the last iconic year for Nickelodeon. It was 2008 which was Nickelodeon's final iconic year for me. Avatar The Last Airbender just premiered in 2005 and I was 9 when I watched it. And by Nickelodeon's flagship show, u mean Rugrats. Because SpongeBob SquarePants is their second flagship show next 2 Scooby-Doo and The Simpsons and Sesame Street from other companies.

CN City was my favorite era of Cartoon Network. It had a mix of old and new. Characters old and new interacting with each other outside of their respective shows was awesome. Like Samurai Jack and Johnny Bravo in a laundromat together. You won't find that on Disney or Nickelodeon. Cartoon Network was great until they brought live-action into the mix. CN Real was a REAL disaster!! And when Christina Miller took over in 2014, it got 100x worse. Live-action was gone, yes that's a good thing. But, all of her focus was on the CN app. Also, the greenlit reboots under her name sucked ass! Thank the Lord above, she was fired on Thanksgiving of 2019! Bring the CN City era back!!
