Hear me out, but I feel like the sheer simplicity might actually secretly be a metaphor for the current state of Cartoon Network and how they're downsizing. Given that the longtime CN Studios building was shut down over the summer and they and WB Animation moved to a shared building where they'll share development teams, CNS is no longer its own entity separate from WB's side of things and there's even been rumors that CNS as a whole may shut down soon. Not to mention with Adult Swim taking over more time slots away from the main channel every year and the lack of CN originals after Craig of the Creek and maybe We Baby Bears ends and they only have one more CN original show left in their 2024 slate (Invisible Fight Girl), the only other new WB-owned IP content they'll definitely have are new seasons of TTG and Gumball (which is made by their European division so they're separate, they have other shows coming out too but they're all acquired) cause their new seasons are guaranteed to happen according to internal database listings. CN definitely has an uncertain future ATM and that reflects on how melancholy this whole rebrand feels down to the music which sounds melancholic to me....

You know, something makes me funny how many idiots continue with the pantomime that cartoon network is dead and blah blah But, beyond the truth, the change of studies hurts them, or this has already been thought about for a long time, but well, the pastel era looks promising. For the new releases that Cartóon Network will have, in 2024 - 2025, unfortunately, this Mito has my crowns swollen

i honestly miss when they had the printer ink (or CMYK) color scheme. as for the pastel era itself, i don't care about it or RDYW. i prefer the CHECK it (1.0 to 4.0) eras/noods and prefuse eras better.

They should make a new era called "Splice-Up Era" which is a mix of The Powerhouse, City, Fall, and Noods eras. All the old music will be remastered and remixed, the bumpers, commercials, split-screens, etc will be all nostalgia-like and define generations more to come. Who's with me? Who else thinks this is a good idea about a splice-up era?

Seems like you have the same opinion as me. The Pastel era isn't bad, it's just that it looks _too_ simple. There's no pizazz going on in the bumpers to keep you interested. Even the iconic channel jingle sounds more calm than usual. I'd take the more unique and colorful styles of the previous eras over this one.

I wanted to make a show not on Cartoon Network, but on KZbin where it was called - Kirby's Adventures in Lemmingland (featuring Lomax and Lemrina (the latter being the fan-made female Lemming, who's also Lomax's friend.) Playlist description: Kirby and Elfilin ends up into a new world where Lemmings exist. Pilot Episode: After Kirby visits Dream Land for Elfilin's sake, both Kirby and Elfilin hears a cry for help. Who could that be...? Suddenly, a portal opens up and urges Kirby and Elfilin to hop in. Kirby and Elfilin were nervous at first, but ends up agreeing to help that mysterious Lemming. They hop in and gets themselves warped to Lemmingland.

@@ArtieRaccoonReviews one show had a Check It 1.0 next ident for it, for as late as at least 2023 (even after other countries such as Canada and Pakistan abandoned the look). I can’t find any more recent continuities other than January 2023, but if this show is still airing on CN Italy, then it’s Check It 1.0 next ident could still be intact.

They really could've taken the concept further, maybe use vaporwave backgrounds or overlayed a cheap VHS filter to give it a more authentic feel

I agree so much. Even with the new variety schedule, cartoon netyworks new audience of elementary schoolers will only get to see approximately 3% of CN Due to Cartoonito and Adult Swim. I love the NEW shows like Jessica's Big Little world but i have barely seen THQOTVPI because of this schedule. And Cartoon Network RSEE and CEE should at least be happy that they have a variety with their branding even if they're stuck in Dimensional. Makes me sad how the Original CN Canada (i know people love to hate it) was one of the best schedules for CN for a while because they were 24/7 and actually had variety in their shows (fosters, PPG, canadian shows, etc, all airing on CN Canada.)

I like this era 1) Pink and green remind me of Cosmo and Wanda 2) Its straight to the point. I don't care about the bumpers I just want the shows.

I still forever miss the redraw your world bumpers like there was full animations it was cool but pastels lazy ass had to step in swear to God literal solid colors side by side a wave effect some transforming shapes some actually cool transitions (basically the part I like the most) aren't too exciting tbh still waiting on a rebrand reel video showcase cuz there has to be more for this branding to offer

I'm gonna be honest, I think this is the worst era in terms of the bumpers. It's simple. Maybe a little too simple. Especially when one of the up next bumpers doesn't show a clip and just shows bland text on a green or pink background. Why was redraw your world killed off so quickly? At least the fun 3d elements and the cool rainbow outlines looked great and played along with the "redraw your world" tagline. I also think dimensional is much much better too. But overall, I think this is just a massively drastic change and not a good one in my opinion.

Their shows aren't as good as they used to be. steven universe is a horrible one that has bad characters, bad messages and some ugly commercials psa I say who teaches that to children about genres, ideologies and racism is ugly ok ko is an attempt to replicate steven universe but in its own style but it doesn't work adventure time is no longer the same its ending ruined everything Craig of the Creek is terrible too and I have no words for the rest it feels without creativity

Damn, that sucks. When I made the Violette1st Plotagon series back in 2019-2022 on my old channel, I made sure to disable updates in the Google Play Store settings because the updates would erase all the characters and scenes.
