I feel like "Whats New Scooby Doo" should get SOME kind of mention here. It may have been a 2002 remake, but the theme song was a really good song done by Simple Plan. Older shows always did it better though imo. Theme songs mattered more back then.

I can tell you it wasn't nightmare fuel to an 8 year old. When I was 8, I was watching the Beetlejuice cartoon. That had much more nightmare fuel than Grim & Mandy ever did, and I loved it.

i really love cartoons that still do intros. ive always loved the concept of anime with their openings and how they always have them and how they change through the show and not many western cartons really care to do that anymore. and even when they do its defiantly not full 1 minute and 30 second intros like anime but even something short is good. its a good thing to introduce and episode i love it

I've actually been working on a powerpuff girls-styled tabletop roleplaying game for a while now. The focus is more on the fact that the girls you play as can be corrupted and trying to stave oft the slide into villainy, however.

Kid next door was one of my favourite cartoon. The five kids antagonist voices always creepied me up because it was like hearing five robots speaking togother at the same time. Also, since I grew up in Montreal there aree shows that you wouldn't find on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon cartoons that I really liked as a kid or even a teen like Daria, Brace face, What about Mimi (Or in the French verison, the one I was used too ''Pourquoi pas Mimi'') What's with Andy, Angela Anaconda, Freaky Stories, Crypte Show (Tales of the Cryptkeeper) all of that were some of my favourites.

I grew up on the 4kids cartoon block. You got your digimon, you got your Yu-Gi-Oh, you got your pokemon. That and card captors and sailor moon are intros that worm ear into your head and never leave.
