Here in Argentina "the porky show" was broadcast in 1994 under the name "el festival de porky" through "the big channel", an extinct cable channel for children in that country of which I have half of it recorded on vhs a chapter of said show that is made up of the opening of the show, the short "Awful Orphan" from 1949, 2 of the bumpers that appear in this video and half of the cartoon "Bell Hoppy" from 1954, all obviously speaking in Latin Spanish In fact, last year "the porky festival" was seen again in Argentina through a religious type cable channel called "nueva imagen television" but due to the death of its owner the channel closed and therefore "the porky show" again stopped being seen in this country.

13:30 As with the opening credits this re -animated short version of the closing credits includes Chopper Dog, Yakky Doodle, Hokey Wolf and Ding a Ling Wolf. In the original closing credits the Kellogg's mascots were Cornelius The Rooster, Snap, Crackle,and Pop, Tony The Tiger, Tony Jr, Sugar Pops Pete and Smaxey The Seal ( Sugar Smacks)..

11:33 The original first run syndication opening & closing of THE HUCKLEBERRY HOUND SHOW included Kellogg's cereal mascots. In the re-animated opening here Huck replaced Cornelius The Rooster ( Corn Flakes). And the Kellogg's sponsorship was removed.

20:00 I'm sure this ending wouldn't go over well today. Too many parents who don't believe in spanking their kids. Sylvester's like: "My son unintentionally humiliated me, so I can just beat his ass backstage!" Poor little Sylvester Jr. didn't deserve that. A rare instance of a Bugs Bunny Show wraparound plot that DIDN'T make me laugh.

8:10- "THE ALVIN SHOW" was *never* colorcast on CBS during its four year run on the network [in prime-time (1961-'62), and Saturday morning repeats (1962-'65)]. Color prints were finally distributed in syndication in the fall of 1965.

13:24 - I thought the Screen Gems "S" wouldn't faze me, but suddenly it starts drifting up diagonally, then sudden green screen and a loud DDDDDDDDDD and finally a super mega giant cue mark that fills up half the screen. If it aired like this, many kids zoomed and hid behind the couch quaking in terror! Edit: Rewatched it and noticed the scary splice mixing Screen Gems orange with DDDDDD green with lines of both colors interlaced.
