Nah, in the GxK novel, it's now confirmed that the crystal was part of Shimo. And Skar King was lucky enough to somehow how got it ngl.

@@endy3928 that doesn’t really make sense since Shimo is never shown to have telepathic powers and the only thing that has that are the crystals found in the hollow earth but mainly the crystal pillars found in the secret location of the Iwi tribe and we know Shimo didn’t create those since her whole thing is ice not crystals so I will still hold onto my theory. Edit: also legendary will miss a prime opportunity to introduce a new villain cause if the crystal used by Skar King is able to control Shimo imagine how powerful a telepath Space Godzilla is.

@@Anur_Vladias What does not having telepathic powers have to with the crystal not being part of Shimo? Those "crystal" are entirely different from the crystal Skar King has. Looking at it closely, it looks so similar to the "crystal" that Shimo's has on her back. Theory are just theory until confirmed. And now that the origin of the crystal from Skar King's whip is confirmed in the GxK official novelization, there's nothing we can do but accept it as cannon. In fact, what doesn't make sense was Mothra's return rather than the crystal belonging to SpaceGodzilla ngl.
