oh i have a interesting thought. Mamon didn't attack Ozzie and at first when he realized that Ozzie was abou tto show up he even looked momintarilly afraid before puting on a strong face. so either Mamon is wekaer then Ozzie and he knows it or there's some form of pact that preveents the seven deadly since (except for Lucifer of course) from attacking one another taht is why neither of them attacked. just a thought/theory.

Mammon realizing the song was about him but not attacking Fizz in public before Fizz quit means he’s at least self-aware enough to realize losing his star performer is going to be a HUGE hit to his entertainment empire. It’s good that Mammon is going to be going through a rough time, but bad because it means he’s going to be absolutely OBSESSED with revenge.

It also makes sense since he is the Sin of Greed, not Pride. While he does seem to be quite prideful and full of himself I believe that his greed supersedes his pride. Although we've seen in sins like Asmodeus who embody their particular sin but aren't completely attached to it and governed by it. Fizz suffers from one of the most critical fears during a relationship. "We are good enough for that one?" Fear can grow so strong that can kill a relationship, and self-esteem and twist reality with false self-inducted ideas. A mere mortal imp (the second lowest ranked creature in Hell) boyfriend of one of the most important members of the Hell royalty as well the incarnation of a very influential Sin. An interesting foil to Blitz and Stolas’ relationship; while both Fizz and Blitz have some doubts about their Royal lovers’ sincerity, partially because of their long lifespans, Blitz recently became aware of Stolas’s mortality. Yet, that hasn’t brought him any more emotional security in Stolas’s love for him.
@z2yn Жыл бұрын
Fizz has been given love and attention all his life, in large part to him being talented - which he believes is the only reason. Blitz has been made feel like he's worthless all his life, he's always tried being something he wasn't. So if no one loved him for him, why would he suddenly believe that? There have been small moments where Blitz got compliments for establishing a business on his own - but that's it. He's gotten kicked down immediately because his success is tied to Stolas giving him access to the living world. Blitz will probably still feel like he owes Stolas when he gets the asmodean crystal, but it's going to take their relationship in an interesting angle.

This a very good episode ! It was very interesting to see the fears of Fizz: when you think about it they made sense with everything we know about him. Fizz was always exploited for his talent at putting a great show, because of this it makes sense that Fizz fears that if he fails the fans, Mammon or even by not being at his all time best, he will lose verything and everyone he has. Fizz truly suffers from his success ever since childhood and the main reason he thought Blitzø was responsible for the incident is because he thought his friend was jealous of his success and talent. He was turned into a limiless brand to make money out him, pleasing the ego and fantaisies of every narcissistic "fans" out there.

I feel like (and I could be wrong) a lot a people missed the biggest reason why Fizz would think Ozzie would stop dating him if he didn't win the contest: Ozzie and Fizz are not supposed to love each other: they have to keep the facade of "business partners win xesual benefits" to remain in close proximity but if Fizz lost the Mammon contract, there would be no more Fizz robot/doll thingies and therefor, no more facade. That way, Fizz thinks Ozzie would leave him to protect himself and his image. Obviously we saw in the episode that this wasn't the case as Ozzie would rather throw away his entire persona and reject his very own sin for Fizz, and I'm really curious about the consequences of that, from a metaphysical and hell-hierarchal standpoint... aside from the fact that Mammon will obviously seek vengeance...

At the beginning of the episode you can hear the adult version of his voice clear as day, it just doesn't have the signature rasp to it that he has in his adult voice. Whether he developed the rasp as a result of the fire or after years of repeated arduous performances, it still tells a very sad story in one of the smallest details.

The development of relationship is crazy! In season 1, millie and moxie were the post children of, "Hell's greatest couple"; fighting for each other, openly loving each other and communicating with each other. It set an unrealistic expectation for what Blitzo and Stolas COULD have, they made it look easier then it actually was, considering Stolas is a Prince in hell and is shown to be in some dealing with Ozzie (since they knew each other). HOWEVER in season 2 we get to see the after-effects of practically bulldozing a stable relationship, with moxie and millie having SOME issues, it highlights them as not only being human but so not being as great as we throught they were. They're still in a stable relationship but are hitting the rocky bits currently. Now with Fizz and Ozzie, they're a mirror image of what Stolas and Blitzo COULD be, due to their similar position in status and similar relations. From the beginning we saw the rocky side of that kind of relationship, which Blitzo DEFINITELY took on board. From the bragging, to the continually talk of sex, to the rumours and judgement, we're shown it all. But then suddenly, were given an image of what they ACTUALLY could/are like. They're supportive, kind, and loving towards each other. This bit however was not shown to the public. The only thing that Stolas and Blitzo could understand from their relationship was the backlash I'd received and criticisms It'd gained, because the PUBLIC WERE THE ONES MAKING THE IMAGE OF WHAT FIZZ AND OZZIE WERE LIKE. But know that everyone and they grandma knows about the Ozzie/Fizzie relationship, how much they care and love each other it provides SUPPORT for Stolas in his want for Blitzo and it also puts a dampen on Blitzo own beliefs of who and what he should love because Fizz and Ozzie shown them that it was an ACTUALLY possibility. And we can all guess that Striker, Crimson, Stella, Mammon aren't gonna be too happy about it. So now everyone in the main cast has a villain/someone who directly contrasts them. Millie/Stricker Crimson/Moxie Ozzie(and fizz) /Mammon Stolas/stella And Blitzo who can be seen as the root of all these problems trying to fix them. Blitzo is still his own enemy.

I am not that deep in the Hazbin/Helluva lore and don’t know whether this question has ever been examined canonically, but I know that this essential problem ALWAYS arises when you have an Immortal character falling in love with a mortal one. I am reminded of one of my favorite lines in all of fiction, from the sci-fi series “Babylon 5”, where an immortal alien, Lorien, the “First One”, speaks to human commander Susan Ivanova and explains the nature of his immortality. He concludes his speech saying that, “only beings whose lives are short can imagine that love lasts forever. It may be the greatest gift that your race has ever received.”

Something I really appreciate, especially after reading a comment talking about it, is how Blitz acted and how he interacted with Fizz and Ozzie. He was a lot more emotionally aware this episode. I can't exactly tell *why* he is, maybe it's because he's around Fizzarolli?? Idk- but he seemed like he was genuinely worried for Fizz throughout the episode. Like, my guy was asking Fizz if he was alright and telling him to stop doing something that was harming his mental health. Plus we have his interactions with Ozzie, which are shockingly respectful. All of which are things we haven't really seen him do in the series much, if at all. It's really interesting to watch and look into!

There's a detail in the new episode that you should know: when fizzarolli is signing autographs there's a hellhound who's ears are coloured like that of an imp's horns. Now, i might be assuming, but if you ask me, that might mean that we just saw our second half breed.

I was crying when Fizz didn’t see his own value and thought he had to be a star to feel worthy of being with Ozzie, despite no doubt the years of Ozzie telling him he’s great and he loves him the way he is.😭😭😭 I’m glad Blitz and Ozzie don’t really have any animosity between each other and just care about Fizz getting away from Mammon.😊❤ Fizz and Ozzie’s song was so sweet and I’m glad Ozzie confessed his love to everyone so he can no longer be blackmailed by Mammon and others.🥰😊💖💖💖 Also, awww to protective Ozzie and giant nuzzles.🥰🥰🥰💗💗💗

oh i love the fact that fizz and blitz are "friends" but not and it is part of this episode in the way i thought it would be with blitz being a bodyguard. they will eventually get to being healthy friends again, but they aren't there yet. it is nice to see them caring and failing yet still getting the fact they care. and that quit song you know everyone is gonna blast.

Love fizz’s design, still wonder though is it even safe for the broken horns to be all jagged like that wouldn’t sanding them down ala hellboy (the movie where the villain was some female entity that could do blood magic) be easier?

I feel like Asmodeus will eventually have to give up his role as the sin of Lust and some else will take his place so that he can go be with Fizz. If not this, then maybe his succubi will turn their backs on him, and this will result in him loosing power due to people on Earth being less lustful?

I think Blitzo seeing the relationship between Fizz and Asmodeous be real will make him re think his own relationship with Stolas, though there is no telling if he's too late in this realization on is Stolas will have finally had enough of Blitz toying with his emotions of if something happens to him (like dying) before Blitz can tell him the truth

My little theory is I think fizz knows sign language maybe because when he got hurt in the fire, he had to learn sign language because it hurt or couldn’t speak at first
@xRadiodustX Жыл бұрын
My one theory I had is a Striker Theory Where his dad his Leviathan Since Levi is a serpent snake demon And Striker is part/or half snake demon and he makes Snake sounds most of the time Another theory is Asmodeus might hire people to protect Fizz
@dylanmiller6169 Жыл бұрын
The leviathan daddy theory kinda reminds of my old theory that striker was an envy native theory. When we first met Striker he was basically the best at everything, basically being a great source of envy for Moxie and likely other imps.

Hell yeah, This is without a doubt the best musical episode of the show! I loved every second of it! It was very interesting to finally see Mammon make an appearance in th show Michael Cusack did an amazing job voicing the character, I especially loved seeing his and Ozzie's full demon forms they were both totally badass! And it was real treat to see Fizz and Blitz and Teens again, their interactions in this episode were just awesome. And now that Fizz and Ozzie's secret's out, I can't wait to see what the fallout of it will be like. I mean the audience in this episode seemed cool with it since they were cheering a little, But there's no telling what the rest of the Sins will think. And the Glitz and Glam sisters instantly became my new favorite side characters I like that they were voiced by Faye Mata, They were hot, sassy and damn could they sing and dance! I mean we'll probably never see them again. But they certainly made interesting rivals for Fizz in this episode! The Spindlehorse crew did a sensational and brilliant job bringing this episode to life!

"Two Minute's Notice" was probably the best song since "House of Asmodeus." I think everyone's fantasized at least once in their life about giving their overbearing boss a big "Eff you, I'm leaving" and here Fizz did it in the most epic way possible to the cheering adoration of thousands of fans.

I still wonder how Fizz managed to mostly stay a good person with everything that's happened to him and the sort of environment fame put him in. Even Moxxie looks bad compared to him.
@DarklightNamari Жыл бұрын
Fizz seems to genuinely have a beautiful heart tbh. Even from the beginning, Fizz acted rather pure-hearted as a child, despite being a denizen of Hell, and even disliked the idea of blood. I wouldn't say he was always such a happy person, it's very possible that he couldve gone through a depressively cynical phase after the Fire incident screwed up his body and horns, at least until he became the face of Mammon's business.. but he kinda heavily implied that meeting Ozzie and forming a real relationship with him had a really positive influence on him as well. We didn't see him during the time he was recovering from that terrible incident so I'm sure he went through a dark place for some time at least. But, having said that, he still seems to have a strong potential to one of the most pure-hearted among hellborns, even over Moxxie (tho they do share some similar traits in regards to that). This is just my take tho.

I do like how despite the enemies I.M.P. have made, they've also made powerful allies. Stolas was their big gun when it came to saving their butts but even his influence was limited and now seems to be in danger from the other Goetia Royals. With Blitz reparing his friendship with Fizz and essentially aquianting himself with Ozzie they now have one of the Deadly Sins of Hell as an ally (2 if you count Bee). Granted it looks like Ozzie might find himself in a similar situation as Stolas in regards to the power structure of Hell if Mammon's threat is more serious than general slander.

Fizz song also think resonated with a lot of people watching because anyone who has ever had a bad boss wishes they could have that mic drop "i Quit" moment. if I ever end up quitting a job would be very tempted to blast "2 minutes" through the office space.

The feeling of being useless feeling like a scapegoat. Constantly used because you feel that you are worth nothing more than a puppet. The feeling of being taken advantage of but having to be shown to you by your loved ones. Fizz has been thru a lot there's a lot of trauma.

Blitz busting in on them to not even be surprised and then making sure they knew he specifically supported them, not just that he like didn't care or that they didn't have to worry about him telling people, was also a wonderful moment. I like that they were the main point of the episode but I really liked how this also showed in small ways how Blitz is trying to be better in his own way lol

I think the reason why Mammon attaches sex to clowning is because of the Mostly American catchphrase "sex sells". Often times to get people to want to buy things, they will put said things next to someone "sexy" in order to get more people attracted to it. Mammon himself doesn't seem too invested in sex, but definitely thinks about it as a means of making money and probably does it cuz he may see how well Azmodeus is doing My guess is that when Ozzie says that Mammon doesn't even clown anymore, I think Ozzie was a clown simply because he felt it gathered him attention. Once he saw other sins, like pride and lust, doing other things he instead diverted his attention to those things in order to make money. I think that the crazed fans take on Fizz was also indictment on Mammon because Mammon has had 0 new ideas so far. Infact his whole thing starts off with a big concert on the ring, which BTW, Gluttony has been doing for AGES it would seem. then creates a theme park which he literally got sued for, and now is going into selling sex toys despite Lust HATING the fact he's doing it. Heck the pageant itself is also there clearly to take the talents of others becuase he himself comes off as extremely awkward and kind of boring (seeing how he goes into a whole tirade about how he ISN'T exploiting people and then immediately starts projecting his practices onto others). He's just genuinely a disgusting guy, so his whole persona builds on taking from others (ingeniously portrayed by the flea imagery in his design, he's a parasite that steals from others to live). This oddly enough makes him stand out, so far the two sins we've witnessed portray a positive take on sin, Mammon I think is the first embodiment of sin that is just entirely evil in how he uses it against others.

Good god, this was a great episode. Relationship goals indeed, Fizz/Oz. Although Mammon and the entire Greed thing lore is now a bit jumbled up - Mammon has an Australian accent, is a clown, and, for all intended purposes, a spider despite the 'natural' species of the ring appearing to be sharks. The twin girls seem to be from the Envy Ring - or they could be female sharks for all I know - which REALLY makes me think that something went wrong somewhere if a SPIDER is the symbol of greed. I understand the symbology [spider spinning web, greedy boss, etc.], but this episode makes me think that entertainment, specifically the show/spectacle type, epitomizes Greed/careers in hell. Take in what Oz said about 'being there from the beginning' and how Mammon not being a sea creature makes me think one of three things - either the roles of Embodiments are inherited rather than owned in perpetuity, Mammon follows an OLDER meaning of Greed, or he and Envy switched Rings for some reason as a spider spinning a web to catch that which they desire [Envy] makes more sense that a shark hunting for money/blood.
