I could see the elites of Hell not caring about the overpopulation issue presented in HH. The Overlords in HH care because they're just running portions of the Pride ring; the Goetia and others probably view themselves as "above" that concern, being safer from the exterminations. They'd still be hoarding souls or other related power as much as possible.

Two of my favorite Goetia demons that I hope that the show brings up are Marchosias and Andras. Marchosias is depicted as a she-wolf with angelic wings and a serpent tail. This demon is a protector type aka perhaos more "good" aligned. The other, Andras, is depicted as an angel with the head of an owl with a sword who rides a giant wolf. They are a war monger and dealer of vengeance aka an unapologetically evil aligned demon. Hopefully one day we will get to see how these two demons are depicted in the Vizipop's vision.

I know its already been pointed out, but it seems as though Pilot Stolas' personality and probably even some of his story was given to Andrealphus. Seems like Viv still wanted a tall bid villain for the show lol

I really wish that the show followed the original plot, not that I hate the way it goes now but I SIGNIFICANTLY would have liked the original idea better, the show has truly changed wether it was planned or not, I have been watching since the first episode came out and I remember being so extremely in love with the plot, but it has changed and feels so much like a different show

I agree Millie was probably not originally trans, she just was a white haired imp who wanted dark hair for some reason. The hair color tied to birth sex seemed to have started in the series post- pilot as you see other imps in the pilot with inconsistent designs, too. I do think it's cool that they standardized the hair colors later as another trait that doesn't get as much notice as the horns. In the pilot I think you see some imps with even naturally bi-colored hair, and the mom with the carriage has white hair but also doesn't have normal imp horns at all. The pilot was really a whole separate rodeo before the world building was finalized. Like a beta level of a familiar game that surprises you with its differences.

I know this is mostly speculation, but it would've made for a good plot in an alternate universe. Ultimately, I'm happy that Stolas became a character that we want to empathise with. After all, it is hell, and there is no shortage of potential evil big bads.

"We would have hated original Stolas". Nope. I would have actually loved the amoral, cool, mysterious, cunning, regal, and actually powerful villain WAY more than the woobified man baby we're stuck with now. I love me a good villain. Stolas being the villain doesn't mean he couldn't have been compelling or interesting, or gotten actually good character development. The Stolas we have now is NOT interesting to me BECAUSE he is never presented as being in the wrong for anything (even though he is) it's everyone else who are in the wrong. Completely taking away a character's flaws and moral grayness doesn't mean "better". Quite the opposite actually.

So long as the creator holds true to whatever they want to make then it’s fine by me. As for the hate. Can always just give the finger

In a tournament-like match the 7 sins would win, but in an all-out war I wouldn't be so sure. The Goetia is not that far below the sins Level of power and there's 72 of them 😂

Here is a thought: would pilot Stolas and Stella have had a more happy relationship? Stella seems to hate Stolas in part because of what a soft boi he is. If Stolas where more manipulative/cruel Stella and Stolas would probably have been able to have a marriage of convenience with them being friends of sorts, if not having an out right romantic relationship. I could see Stella having no problem with pilot Stolas having sex with Blitzo so long has Stolas keeps it on the down low. In this cause it would be Stolas just getting his jolly's off at the novelty of being rough dogged by a peasant so Stella wouldn't have to worry about loosing all the perks she gets from being married to Stolas.

These comments are giving both Stolas and the overall writing too much of a pass. Stolas DID in fact dump his feelings on Blitz and Blitz reverted to what he knew and thought it was sexual before lashing out when realization set in. Let me break it down. The entirety of season one was nothing more than a sexual transaction. From going as far as to fake needing protection just to flirt to referring to him as a “impish little play thing” and wanting a reward for saving him. The very next episode is their “date” but let’s be real. Stolas is separated from Stella, doesn’t have his daughter around and is watching Hellanovelas bored at home. Blitz calls him for a favor and he gets excited, we can say it’s because of a date but really as usual I think he just wanted a distraction. He didn’t initiate the date nor think to call Blitz and while he could have actual feelings and was a nervous wreck mostly he was also skeptical and in the end didn’t want to claim Blitz in public (which contributes to Blitz not taking him seriously later). Stolas is comfortable doing things in private behind closed doors because when they were alone again he’s calm and trying to do things with Blitz. In season 2 they didn’t talk and Stolas reverts back to flirting with Blitz instead of leaving to find his daughter immediately so a rehash of season 1. And let’s not forget when in danger with Striker all he does is talk about Blitz in a sexual manner, of course to get on Strikers nerves but he could’ve gone about it in other ways and chose not to. Then we find out they texted but it was mainly Stolas giving excuses. Stolas NEVER indicated wanting more nor did he act like he really liked Blitz beyond what they usually do. (No asking someone how their day was and liking pictures doesn’t tell them you want a relationship). Season 2 really tried to do damage control but if you take it for what it is and cut out all the soft season 2 moments and jump straight from season 1 to this episode you would call out Stolas for his BS. He started out by putting Blitz in emotional distress, then did a love confession, then ran away when Blitz wasn’t immediately on board and jumping into his arms. Stolas is far from innocent and people only take his side because he’s a “sad owl boy who needs a hug”. Blitz lashing out might have went too far but Stolas is so self serving all the time and once again ignored Blitz because he didn’t have his way which is a common problem, literally took humiliating him in public for him to finally say his name right and respect his space. He’s always dangling a carrot in front of Blitz and gets upset when Blitz refuse to keep trying to get it.
