This needs to be said - I am glad this KZbin group is actively trying out different games and experimenting rather than "forcing it" for group cohesion. my personal preference is that graphics/looks makes up only about 5% max of my interest in a game, if a game has 8/10 gameplay with 5/10 graphics, and another game was 7/10 gameplay with 8/10 graphics in most cases i think the game with better gameplay will just be better.
