Don't know why he's motor runs out of steam at 7000rpm, decent camshafts should fix that, if the rules allow. I was able to see 8000rpm easily in the lower gears without altering the carbs or exhaust in any way, just mildly different cam profiles and finely balanced internals. He's right though about it feeling alive, mine almost felt like a living, breathing thing.

It's a beautiful car. Shame the exhaust sounds like a raspy catback on a civic.

***** Not all n/a 4 cylinders sound like garbage. Way to miss the point.

***** Well at least you got ONE thing right in this conversation instead of misinterpreting every single statement. The exhaust system is oversized junk with a big echo chamber of a "muffler" if there is one at all and that's why it sounds like the typical riceboy special on a civic.

Yucannt Hahvitt The reason it sounds like crap is the horrible microphone placement on this video. It's clearly been put somewhere close to the exhaust tip, which is pretty much the most retarded way of trying to capture engine sounds. For some reason it seems like a popular one too. The best placement for microphone on pretty much any car is the cockpit, because you have a lovely mix of induction and exhaust. I bet this car sounds much, MUCH better IRL.
