I do whittle and carve time to time and keep all these creations for memories and collection, fun and interesting to do, but lots of cuts on my fingers : ))

Nice execution! Your plan may be delayed for a while but there is a bright side. You now have a pile of dry wood curls to help start the fire and grill that steak. Who knows, the butter knife could be used to butter the rolls, top the mashed potatoes or add a butter pat to finish off the meat. All good.
