I can not draw very well but I keep trying 😂. It does help with carving. I carve nearly every day. Thank you for the video.

I'm a begginer so I prefer use soft wood that are more easy to whittle but I just found a buckthorn log that seems pretty hard (I've never use that wood..) I think I'll try your little dinosaur. Seems simple enough to try hard wood for the first time. Thanks for the video, go on like that!

Hey, thank you for sharing! Yes, it's very tempting to just stick to softer woods, but I think as soon as you start carving hard wood you will appreciate it. It finishes so well, giving off nice polish and it is so reliable when it comes to carving little details. Good luck!

Dinosaurs traditionally wore Bowler hats or sometimes trillbies.

Do you obtain own wood and cut it into block, or can you buy them ready to use?
@Werewolfwhittles3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I actually do both! Sometimes I find some wood when walking (ash wood, for instance). However, I like mahogany and black walnut a lot, but it doesn't grow naturally in the UK, so I have to buy it online. I just use a normal saw to cut it

What gloves are you wearing that are small enough to fit smaller hands? And are they cut resistant?
@Werewolfwhittles3 жыл бұрын
They are not strictly speaking cut resistant. Of course, they will prevent some small cuts (they saved my fingers multiple times!), but overall they are quite thin. The upside is that they are very flexible. These are just some cheap gloves from eBay. i.ebayimg.com/images/g/KgcAAOSwxARgHnfG/s-l1600.jpg
