What are the cheaper option band saws that will work for this that will cut to that size? Also what size piece did you use for the head? Thanks

I know this is waaaaaay late, but you can cut out blanks using a jigsaw or even a cheap coping saw. It’s a lot more work, but with sufficient willpower anything can work, it’s just a matter of working on it for 20-30 mins

Yes, but you’d have to rough cut the duck in several thinner layers, then laminate them together afterwards.
