Carver - What Would Jesus Do

My dear friend Cathe Steele and I wrote this song because of Cathe’s mom encouraging her to ask “What would Jesus do?” when she has questions in this life. After Cathe’s mom passed I was honored that Cathe asked me to help midwife this song. What Would Jesus Do was born a couple of months ago when Cathe came to visit me in Taos. With the generous help of the incredibly talented Will Kimbrough, Cathe Steele and Molly Thomas, the tracks were built around a voice memo that was made on my iphone7 in my bathroom closet. Thanks to my friend Shelly Ratigan, a sweet young magician named Braden agreed to star in the video, and the brilliant Thom Bresh worked his magic in putting the video together. This song has been a labor of love from the first note, and it felt so good to say something that matters to us. Thank you for listening. Thank you for doing whatever you can, wherever you are, to make this world a little safer, a little softer, a little kinder.
