TheSaiyanKing The whole point of the video was the challenge of using power tools. In this instance hands tools are easier for some of the work but Matthias had the goal of using power tools only.

Matt You brought back such a lovely memory of my old shop teacher Bud Ewell . I came across a photo of a wood chain back in 1986 . And Mr . Ewell never showed me how to solve this problem of how to make this figure, but rather asked and asked again, how I might . I made my four link chain out of a fallen tree limb where the chain sprang from the natural edged wood with a link still attached to three freed links . Yes a lot of sanding , and all with hand tools . The coping saw and the drill and brace became my enemy and friend at the end . Thank you again for making me remember the kind of man I'd like to grow up and be some day. Only 46 now so I got a chance . Again thx

Hi Matthias,I always check your site every Friday morning (I live in the UK) as I enjoy your articles and videos so much, I was a little disappointed today as I watched a video from one of the other woodworkers I watch doing the exact same thing on Thursday. When I watched your other video it reminded me of your first build and as far as I could remember everything was the same. Your way of keeping the handle up was very imaginative the first time but did you make any different parts as I did not see any?
