@@S.Hunter My pleasure Steve! Tell me about your video setup. What kind of camera are you using? Are you using a tripod, a harness, or what do you use to hold your camera?

@whittling I am currently using a GoPro Hero 12 Black camera and have been trying different mounting options. I have an adjustable wall mounted boom with a ring light that I modified to mount the GoPro in the center of it. I use that quite often. I also have a GoPro mounting bracket on the front edge of my desk that I use from time to time, it's what I used for this last video. The other mounting that I use is actually a shooting tripod that I use when deer hunting. I found it to be quite handy. It is a Primos brand trigger stick gen3. It came with a 1/4-20 mount that I have attached a GoPro mount to. The nice thing about it is the legs are a tube in tube design that traps air in them making the act like pneumatic cylinders. There is a trigger just under the mounting surface that opens a valve to the legs and allows you to freely extend, retracts or angle all of the legs simultaneously. It operates super smooth and allows me to position the camera effortlessly. For the rotating progress shots I have another GoPro mount on my desk in front of a small turntable. I carve a few minutes and then place the carving on the turntable to record 30sec of thar then carve more....rinse and repeat. The GoPro works OK, but I am considering adding a second camera. Always trying to figure it out!
