-i rediscovered a giant pencil this week that i had bought months ago for this reason and decided there's no time like the present.
side note -the wood was atrocious to carve and the video took a turn but in the end it all worked out

Great video....as always. Favorite was the bear saved from the trash. Had a similar experience with an owl carving for my grand daughter. Still sits on her desk last time I looked. Still watches me, to make sure I leave!

Doug I had two them magnum pencils you idea give me potential to try that I also removed the eraser on the top and found the lead or graphite stick inside doesn’t go to end of the pencil I has drilled out a branch and installed a pencil just for a laugh 👍🇮🇹🦊🐾🇬🇧
